    DBB's been ridin a magic carpet for a long time now. Puig saved him, then Uribe save him, then Kershaw saved him...what's gonna save him from this under .500 stretch that's lasted about a month and a half? Greinke and Kershaw have been otherworldly and they've still been mediocre for some time now. Offense is not showing up, still lookin weak on the road, etc.

    I'll say this about Mattingly. IMO, like 90% of the time, I don't have a problem. But there's games like today that he has every once in AWHILE that are inexcusable. It still comes down to the players though. If Joc or Howie come through, we'll say "yeah, it was idiotic, but it didn't really matter".
