    portraying a character like tommy is a tall order for anyone
    but a physical transformation into tommy would be a challenge for anyone at any age
    deniro’s acting chops (no gluttony) cannot be denied
    but at his age you’d have to imagine AI, CGI and fat suits would all be in play

    As will I. If it's about Tommy, I'll go see it, even if Danny DeVito is playing him. Mini Tommy.
    I'm curious as to who plays Sinatra, assuming he would definitely be in it.
    If he's in it singing at all, Harry Connick ? But he's a roid monster now I think.

    I admire that you guys are able to put your personal feelings aside for Tommy. You are bigger men than I am. Denassho could play my dad in a movie and I'm still boycotting.

    This looks super fake and goofy to me.
    He looks more like Gene Wilder after eating too many Wonka bars.
    Wish they would just cast someone that looks like the character and capture things in frame instead of using a computer.

    great actor but i can't either. see all sorts of stuff he comes up in and i just can't. turn on the reruns of naked and afraid instead.

    don't think LA can count on the ATL losing any of their games vs. Cincy or Miami. will have a LOT more confidence in the squad if they can put it away asap. like against SD right now. i know davey needs to look at some guys. hopefully not at the cost of a vital victory. the horror of a 3 game and two quick accidental losses should be enough motivation. easy to get caught feeling good about themselves rn. nothing can be taken for granted.

    Completely agree. I didn't want to back into the playoffs and so far they're not doing that, but wins against the Reds and Gnats don't say a whole lot. Especially because they've lost so many series recently against above-.500 teams, they need a confidence boost here by taking at least two of three in this series. If they do that, I'll feel good about the chances for the bye, even if ATL wins out their remaining schedule.

    Dare I ask the question? Is it conceivable that the Dodgers pick up two more on MIL for HFA throughout? Just one back after tonight, plus Brewers have the tiebreaker.

    I dwelt on this overnight, and I think I'd still want the 1-seed. Brewers are the biggest obstacle, so I prefer to have HFA on them. The other four I'd clump together in the same tier - if the Dodgers don't play up to their ability, any of the four have equal chances to upset.
