    idk why but I feel the most frustrated when it's the defense that fucks up a game, which is what happened today. Defense makes its plays and I think the Mets score only about 3 runs. Some of it was bad luck on those bloopers but Grandal, Verdugo, Dozier, and Enrique all should have made their respective plays IMO. And if they do, the Mets aren't scoring much today

    Yeah Ryu and Madson weren’t bad, just some shitty luck and shitty defense... it figures cause scoring this many runs off of Wheeler is a miracle

    I’d rather deal with Muncy’s shitty defense at 2B with his bat in the lineup everyday as opposed to hoping and praying that Dozier can hit

    2b is now the Dodgers 3b, or the problem it was for what seemed like an eternity.
    Maybe the obsession with depth might take a back seat in this case for a bona fide guy who can handle it every night.
    I guess they tried getting Dozier in the off season, but mercifully failed. Be hard watching this stiff for the whole season, instead of two months.

    dozier was still an upgrade over logan but man
    after the first couple of weeks i though he'd be a sure fire Dodger on a 2 or 3 year deal
    i loved that he really wanted to be here and was excited too
    but he's gripping himself right out of LA
    and no way i want to resign spaz i don't care how much he hits
    analytics or not you still have to be strong up the middle and he's anything but strong

    22 games left in this pennant race, and they fell apart like a bunch of LLers tonight. Embarrassment to the extreme; now is when they should be a lean mean winning machine. But when your first string catcher sets the tone for clumsy ineptness, everyone follows suit, it looks on LA anyway.
    Right now they should be running like a well oiled, finely tuned sports car, but the way Roberts manages is nothing but a monkey wrench to that scenario.
