Thanks. I FINALLY found that out but it took so long which is concerning to me. Our brightest star on the horizon and I can't find information???

    Cotton: 6IP, 5H, 1ER, 3BB and 6Ks
    Holmes: 5 2/3IP, 5H, 2ER, 2BB and 4Ks.

John Richy pitched for Rancho tonight as well.

7 1/3IP, 5H, 1ER, 1BB and 6Ks. Respectable (for the Cal league) 3.77 ERA in over 100 innings, better than 3:1 K:BB. Could be a nice 3rd or 4th piece in a deal, if nothing else.

Ricky sits 86-92, with a fringy slider. Change flashes average but he can spot the ball well. Easy plus command tonight which allowed him to carve up his opponents. Not a big time prospect, but a pitcher to continue to develop

Feel bad for Zach Bird. He will have some great games then like every 5th start gets destroyed.

Couldn't spot anything. Pitches lacked crispness. Not optimistic tbh

MLB.com released their new Top 100 prospects today and Top 30 for each team.

    Seager #2
    Urias #5
    De Leon #29
    Holmes #67

    Here is the Top 30:

Shocking to see Alvarez so low, and a little disheartening to see Brendon Davis at #17 and no sign of Imani Abdullah, because they spent about $1.5M on those essentially costing them Funkhouser.

I don't like the way they do these lists because we see some of these guys haven't even played a professional inning yet but are obviously better than others. Alvarez will be a top 50 prospect after his first full season in the states, mark my words

Doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense. I do like these lists for comparisons of one prospect of multiple years in pro ball to another however.

I don't doubt for a second that Alvarez will be a top guy in short order. $16M for a decent prospect doesn't compute.

Yep. At Baseball Prospectus we didn't include newly drafted guys for midseason lists. (Not my idea lol). Made more sense, and then when we did the offseason top 100 it was much more accurate.

32M. They paid double for him, right?

Amazing how far Dylan Bundy has fallen. Those prep innings did a number on his arm.

Sad thing is, we're just going to see more and more TJ cases because of how many innings these kids pitch on travel teams.

Sorry, this had nothing to do with what was quoted, just random thoughts

Or you get college/high school coaches that would do anything to save their jobs, so they run their best pitchers out there day after day and burn them to the ground... Like my coach did to me!

Maybe I'm being naive, but if you know your kid has good enough stuff to get drafted wouldn't you want them on a throwing program or something?
