It IS nice to see SVS hit .375.. and Puig at .324 is only good so long as he'll learn to stretch those fat hammies... and Utley at .311 is great though no one expects that to last.... I'll take it while I can

Responding to Carolina bd, and agreeing with him. Which is a couple of posts above mine.

Tough being an east coast fan of a west coast team. I feel a kinship with BZ for this reason. Well, that and the grumpy old fart thing...

Seager is hurt, but is starting to get healthy. Had another bout of some illness that dropped his weight way down and I don't think he came into camp healthy. He's supposed to be ready for opening day, but would not hate if the team found a way to keep him down, get totally healthy and maybe grab an extra year of control.

Scavuzzo has been a little up and down. He had a breakout year in '13, a bad year in '14, then an ok start and a great finish in '15 that turned a lot of heads when he did so well in the Fall league. He is a 4-5 tool player(depending on who you ask), but he is going to have to show that he is not just a player that benefits from playing in hitter friendly parks this season. He is likely trade bait as he is way down on the depth chart with Pederson, Puig, Thompson, Diaz, Vedugo, Heredia and Callhoun all being young OF's or potential OF'ers that are ahead of him.
