It's funny looking at the farm now and comparing it to like 5 years ago. The Dodgers 10,11 or 13 prospects could currently be headliners in a package for a deal for a solid player. In 2011 you could maybe say that about an unproven Zach Lee, but beyond that, the farm was a fucking mess. For those wondering, 2011 consisted of
    Lee(MiLB, Mariners)
    Allen Webster(Korea)
Withrow(Braves BP, and doing somewhat well)
    Ethan Martin (Out of baseball)
Eovaldi (SP Yankees, but meh outside of W-L's last year)
    Angel Sanchez?(Out of baseball?)
    Aaron Miller(retired)
    Garrett Gould(Out of baseball)
Shawn Tolleson (Rangers, Good year last year, HORRIBLE this year, back issues)
Scott Van Slyke (We all know what he's up to)
It got better in 2012 with additions of Puig, Pederson and Seager

Couldn't Calhoun be moved to LF?

Can't afford to have a hack playing middle INF. I've heard the same things about his work ethic. Maybe he can develop into an adequate 2B.

He wouldn't neccessarily be a hack, he would just not be anything special. Those guys can also evolve into better and better defensive players as their careers progress. He could probably play in LF, but that bat plays way up at 2B.

Excited to see how he does. De Leon is also going for OKC, hopefully he continues to progress and work deeper into games.

That's a needed big game for him, still frustrating the way they are limiting innings/pitches throughout the system.

Edit: Holy shit, they let him stay in, YAY!

Great day for Dodgers top pitching prospects, not a great day for former top pitching prospects.

Speaking of raising value, just need Puig to have a multi-homer game or something. We need to get 10 or so runs ahead or behind in a couple of games, and have Yasiel do what he does best. Tack on runs in useless situations when we don't really need him to. Then trade his ass.

I'm thinking about JDL starting the next time the spot comes up currently occupied by Urias. I'm not thinking about trade value I'm thinking grab that spot and have a awesome career.

He drove in the only run of the game at a time when it was still in doubt, take that! :D

That really should be his last start in AAA this season. His K rate is 13.3/9... in the PCL and every report I see is that he is ready with that ++Change of his. Man it sucks that he and Montas have been hurt so much this season as both have been fantastic in their short stints, with great reviews from scouts. Hopefully they finally give him a look and the team can see what they have in one of the top RHP prospects in baseball.
