Trevor Oaks, another random Dodger minor league starter having a huge year. Don't know much about him, but he seems like a big time sinker ball innings eater type guy.

Throwing a 1 hit shutout in OKC

    Season: 13-3 2.87 ERA

Him and that Brock Stewart guy seemingly came out of nowhere. Hopefully he's better than Stewart though.

I don't think Stewart is bad or anything, he had 2 bad outings but whatever

But yeah Oaks is hella random and maybe he can become a guy

Puig is 13/27 (.481) with 3 HR's in 7 games OKC. He could be doing that for us...

It sounds like Puig has found a home where he can succeed.

If it improves his trade value, so be it. That might actually be what he is trying to do.

The last time he played in the majors he did go 3 - 5 so he could have been doing this for the club. With our obvious weakness against left handed pitchers it stands to reason that he could be helpful. We'll see but wherever he ends up I'll be rooting for him. OKC finally lost after 6 straight wins.

    for the umpteenth time
his demotion was not production related
it was due to his poor attitude, work ethic and cancerous, er, negative presence
he can pad his minor league resume all he likes
but i seriously doubt you will ever see puig in a dodger uniform again
and that video he posted shows how out of touch he is and just reinforced management's decision to send him down

I know that it wasn't production related I was citing an example of how hot he was going in and how hot he has maintained that pace whilst our hitting against lefties is a reason that he might be helpful. The video was very much a stupid decision we all agree on that but if you don't think somebody else would have found a way to post it especially these days. He has since apologized for doing that but there is the argument that when a veteran who makes loads of cash goes down to the minor he usually pays for a party and he did but Puig being the most polarizing figure in baseball it was a huge deal. The OKC team is 6 - 1 since so you can say and I will that the party has had a impact. As for his status yeah he's probably not going to be back up in a Dodgers uniform this year and could be traded but he's again 25 years old and IF Reddick isn't re-signed it could be 2017. Either way I'm a fan for life and y'all can shit on him all you want I'm not going to change barring a criminal charge of course.

As Zaidi explained it, the “primary” reason for Puig’s departure was Reddick’s arrival. Reddick carried an .816 on-base-plus-slugging percentage into Tuesday. Puig had a career-worst .706 OPS.

But Zaidi acknowledged that Puig’s behavior was a factor. The organization did not portray Puig as an irreconcilable malcontent, crippling the club with his personality. The issues were smaller and subtler, a series of minor indiscretions that piled up.

    - posting the video isn't his fault since someone else would have done it anyway
    - he apologized so it's okay
    - he makes more $$$ so it's okay to pay for a party
    - wouldn't be a big deal if it were anyone but puig
    - okc is 6-1 so all of this is okay

    i do not agree

Yeah, I think MGT is done with Puig......sucks cuz if he could reign in his attitude I think he could be a huge asset. But, I do believe he is doing exactly what MGT wanted when they sent him to AAA. Hit the crap out of the ball, and maybe improve his trade value. Lets just hope we get something good in return at the August deadline.

Was there a word in there that pointing out the apology was justification? IF you watched and had interest in baseball for the number of years as I have you would know it's not unusual for a guy who gets sent down to treat the team when they are rich. Ex-players have said it. It happens alot like I wrote but because he posted it which I pointed out was the mistake but even if he hadn't which AGAIN I wrote was wrong, you know it would have gotten out. Not fantasy island here that is a reality these days. AGAIN still wrong to post it. Hell yeah look around he is the most polarizing players on this team and in the majors and in sports!! Perfect example was the Rosendouche tweet. All I pointed out with the OKC record is that maybe this team needed to blow off steam, they were struggling horribly and since then 6 - 1. Managers give guys days off to shake them up, they don't practice to give guys breaks, Joe Maddon is a master at keeping guys loose OBVIOUSLY they don't throw parties which again is WRONG but it's a technique. Admittedly it was a an unintended consequence but WHO CARES. I'll keep posting things about him you know that so you might as well ignore me. :poke:

puig is polarizing for all the wrong reasons
wasn't that way in his first season
    rosendouche's tweet was a mistake
and -- credit where credit's due -- the way puig responded/accepted the apology was great
i agree with what you say about managers sitting players
further, this is what the nerds are attempting to do by demoting puig
they want that hungry player he was
not the lazy, content, undisciplined one he became
hoping he takes this demotion seriously and stops taking it all for granted
but i don't think he will nor do i believe we'll ever see him in a dodger uniform again
    hope i'm wrong
    but i don't believe i am

as for ignoring you, you can forget about that bkitch :bitchslap:
