    His problem is that a guy named A-Gon plays 1st and our OF is as crowded as ever so it's not his talent.

    He can play both spots which is the flexibility the FO loves.
    Opens up roster spots.

    And he hits lefties better and with more power too.
    While not being a slouch against righties.
    Would be a natural platoon partner with Reddick if we resign the RF.
    And play a lot of LF while howie takes a super utility role.
    We are really loaded though with OF.
    And if we resign Reddick it should not be at whatever his market price was gonna be due to his poor play. Then we can flip him if he does well.
    Imo Toles will be the real deal.
    And Trayce was so much fun when he was on point.
    Next year will have so many riches on all fronts.
    We just need a major upgrade in SS utility dept. Specially if he can hit lefties.
    That's why we should flip an OF for Villar from the Brewers to get a bona-fide 2B for the long haul that can be the emergency SS on t he roster and can hit leftis for our split lineup.
    That would maKe the team a lot stronger.
    And fix our lefty weakness as having howie trayce and Villar gives us more balance.
    It would such to give up Toles or Puig but Villar would help the team a lot more because we are lacking what he does really well and don't have much in the minors that can fill those roles. Specially in one guy.
    And what luxury to have howie and Utley as pinch hitting utility guys.

    Bellinger with another bomb today and an RBI base hit. The chances of this happening are probably <1%, but if he rakes the rest of the AAA season, I wonder if the team would consider calling him up in hopes of catching fire. Only way I see it happening is that the team continues to stink it up against LHP and there is a significant injury on the roster. Like I said, basically no chance it happens, but this FO has shown that it's willing to call up a hot hand.

    Cody 2 - 5 today including his 3rd HR. Hitting .545 with homers and 6 RBI in 11 AB's.

    Good news for JDL Brandon MehCarthy today 4 innings 9 hits 10 runs, only 5 earned however and he threw 79 pitches.

    I mean we don't really have a real backup 1B and I'd love to see Bellinger... but nope... although I've changed my stance and expect to see him in LA in 2017

    As for McCarthy and Anderson, please shut them down for 2017 and be done with them.
