    A scout told Jon Heyman that he thinks Cody Bellinger has 50 HR potential. Well that's fun.

    Considering only 2 players have hit 50+ HR's since 2008, saying he has 50 HR potential is the same as saying he has league leading HR potential.

    Imani Abdullah has apparently continued to grow since he was drafted a couple years ago at a height of 6'4". They didn't say how tall he was now(for some reason they never update that), but they said a couple of inches, plus he's finally putting on bulk to his frame. Someone mentioned separately that he started to see an uptick in MPH as the season went on as well last year. He was late to start the game and has already shown some advanced skills. He will be one to watch this season.

    Famous for getting the call from Magic when he was drafted


    LOS ANGELES—Most 11th-round picks have room to grow. But righthander Imani Abdullah is proving to be exceptional even with that as a given.

    “When I came in, I was probably about 6-foot-3, around 200 (pounds),” said the slender Abdullah, who has added “a couple inches” in height and nearly 20 pounds.

    “I’ve kind of stopped growing this way (height) and now I’m getting thicker—a good kind of thick,” Abdullah said. “I might have another inch left. Maybe . . . My dad didn’t stop growing until his late 20s so I might have that in there. Genetics.”

    Yep, always good to compare a player who was trending downwards on prospect lists and topped out #34 before he dropped to one that has steadily risen and is sitting top 10 on most lists.
