word to the wise..when Bluezoo's sarcastic with you, it's acceptable. when you're sarcastic with Bluezoo, it's a problem.

and if you disagree with Bluezoo, and he insults your intelligence by asking you if something is " rocket science", you dare not respond by insinuating that he's old.

universal wisdom is much like you said there in the bold..ignore him.

“The most widespread front-office conspiracy theory” sees the Nationals trading Jordan Zimmermann and then signing Max Scherzer. This scenario is “so obvious it makes me question if it’s real,” one GM said. Clearly a lot of factors would have to fall into place for the Nats to pull this off, though they’re known to be listening to offers for Zimmermann, who will be a free agent after the 2015 season. Scott Boras, Scherzer’s agent, is known for waiting until deep into the offseason to find a preferred deal for his clients, which could give Washington more time to line up a Zimmermann trade.

    • The Dodgers are looking for bullpen upgrades but are wary about making any major commitments given how much money they’ve already invested in relief pitching.
    • Speaking of high-priced Dodgers relievers, the team’s new front office “is not enamored with” Brian Wilson. The righty will earn $9.5MM in 2015 after exercising the player option given to him by previous L.A. general manager Ned Colletti. Wilson posted a 4.66 ERA, 1.86 K/BB and 5.4 BB/9 over 48 1/3 IP in 2014 while suffering a drop in velocity, though it was his first full season after returning from Tommy John surgery.

    DFA hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think this would be a solid and very reasonable off-season for us:

    1. Sign Jamie Shields to a 4-year $78M contract
    2. Sign Sergio Romo to a 2-year $13M contract
    3. Trade Ethier, Lee and $25M for Alexei Ramirez
    4. Put together a nice trade package for a lefty RP

The Nationals are “likely” to trade setup man Tyler Clippard, a source tells FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal. MLBTR’s Matt Swartz projects Clippard will earn $9.3MM in his final year of arbitration eligibility before hitting the free agent market following the 2015 season, and with closer Drew Storen projected to land a $5.8MM contract as well, moving Clippard would allow the Nats to save some money at the back of their bullpen.

tell you what..the fella has been as solid as it gets. especially in the post season..6 games/6 innings -- 2 hits. tough on lefties and righties. wonder what the Nats want..

Absolutely right...you should just skip it like always. Please do.
I really wasn't waiting anxiously for your answer, just curious why only particular stuff was addressed, and not that aspect, since it's the main point of everything. And just because someone disagrees with you, it's not OK for personal insults... You can't even say "no offense meant"
without the tweek coming in the first sentence, BTW. But at least you wrote it.
And isn't it too late to come up with the dismissive "no need for a response" since you already have? Not a novel, like me, but surely a short story.
One more thing: your " longer BP deals never pan out" isn't always true. They pan out if the guy helps get you to the WS, and maybe win it, but sucks for the other half of his cntract or whatever. Just ask the Giants about the POS we have in our BP now

Aww, are you ganging up on me...if that's how you see it, then it is what it is for you.
But you're the kind of guy who asks a question, gets an honest answer and opinion, and you come back with "so says the know it all"...if there is anybody on this site, that's a know it all, it's you. Who else takes someone's post and highlight's every sentence and proceeds to explain why they are wrong about everything they wrote.
I have no problem with disagreement, and I only use sarcasm when someone uses it first, or referring to the FO or Mattingly, whatever.
And WTF does that have to do with age? People aren't superior if they are younger or older than the other, are they? On a BB website?
You're so eaten up with getting at me, you're using a response to one poster that has nothing to do at all with the other.
    Whatever makes you happy, though.
Amazing how recently, a great poster was forced from being on this website anymore by threats and basically violent behavior, and this is what you're commenting about.

Yeah, you're right. She's a knockout, but always loved D'angelo. too. Used to be a cartoonist with Hanna Barbera, of all things.
