He's not. Saw him in high-A and sat 89-91 with no life. He may come back in a year or two but my money is he's done for good

In his first 3 APP following his injury? Yeah, he's still building his arm back.

Elbert had a couple god awful games after moving to ABQ, but then seemed to figure things out before not pitching again the last couple games of their season. There is room on the 40 man for him as they can still 60 day Fife.

Another thing I'd love to see besides the obvious stuff, is Matt rise his average 18 points or so, and get to .300 BA. I know that would take a tear and a half to do, but it's kind of the idea. Additionally, it would stop all the trade BS that is still swirling (maybe...on second thought it might increase them)...with Hanley a huge question mark and Puig sailing the SS Doldrums, where are we going without him? Sure we've got Agon, but it's not enough. and Gonzo is older....not done , by any means , but I would like Kemp to stay.
    KKK upper levels or not.
Maybe Pedersen will be awesome...maybe it will not come right away. Right now, Kemp's solid, and brought a possible drudge year up to a really nice one, pretty quicly , IMO.
19 HRS from what he had not too, too long ago is focus. Or just plain luck-it doesn't matter at all.
And Frias looks like he can become a very valuable piece of the LAD puzzle, too. Very valuable. Will he be on that elusive playoff roster, should we go, pray tell?

Upton didn't demand a trade, Towers hated Upton from the start of his tenure because he didn't like his attitude. Towers is a total D-Bag and his philosophy on his team is why we all fucking hate them today. Upton had every right to block the deal to Seattle, if I was a big power hitter I wouldn't want to play there either. Towers took a weaker deal due to Prado being the type of clubhouse presence they covet. It's his fault for trying to build a team of grit, dude deserves all the shit he gets.

Kemp has a 307/11/33 line with a 960 OPS since the All Star break. He really has been a godsend considering Puig has a 255/1/7 line in the same time frame and Hanley 231/2/15. We really need at least one of them to get hot for the postseason. For all the concerns we have about our #4 spot in the rotation, I'm concerned about our offense shitting the bed in the postseason like it did vs St. Louis last year. The Yankees won the WS with a 3 man postseason rotation of Sabathia-Burnett-Pettitte, I don't see why we can't do the same with Kershaw-Greinke-Ryu. No fucking way should Hernandez/Carmona or Haren make a start

well, i know he didn't demand a trade per say, but i remember him doin an interview on MLB Network where he said the possibility of teaming with his brother was intriguing to him. but maybe that was in response to Towers' feelings toward him though?

but you're absolutely right..Towers didn't like the " Upton suave "..kinda the way both Upton's play. to be honest, i don't really like " the suave " either..Kemp suaved it to home plate last year and cost us a WS birth. don't know that i'd hate it enough to take a weak deal though. after he blocked the Seattle deal, i probably would've held on to him until a better one came.
