    Yeah, black and old blue might have issues. Those are old styles and may not be compatible with the new version (we'll make new ones over time).
    For now I'd say use dodger blue or red and black (or deep purple if you want a really ugly style :))

    Pirates Willing To Stretch Payroll To Retain Martin

    OCT. 1: Pirates owner Bob Nutting has now also voiced a willingness to stretch the payroll to retain Martin, writes Sawchik’s colleague Rob Biertempfel. He quotes Nutting:

    “As we’ve made priorities, we’ve found opportunities to stretch. He’s an example of a player we’re going to need to do what we can. We’re going to need to stretch. We’re probably going to go beyond what a rational deal is. He’s a player who we love and respect and we hope he’s back.”

    he's just throwing that out there because of what martin said (about coming back) last night
    stretching the payroll isn't necessarily competing with the big spenders
    and "we hope he's back" is a far cry from "we're going to do whatever we can to retain hum"
    plus by throwing out the "beyond rational" phrase, he's already trying to plant a seed that martin is asking for more than he's worth

    bottom line, it's all going to come down to how much martin is willing to leave on the table
    if it's $12MM a year vs. $14MM a year, he might stay
    but if it's a huge gap, you'd have to think he'd walk
    i mean, the pirates are a good team
    but they're not going to compete with the big boys if they're not willing to spend -- in addition to martin

    Orioles lefty Andrew Miller is a strong union man who will seek the best contract for himself when he reaches free agency. Miller wants to return to the Red Sox, if they’re not close on money, but he’ll ultimately go to the highest bidder. Major league sources tell Cafardo that they believe the bidding will start at three years, $21MM.
