That is the weird thing. You have to bridge the gap to the 9th.

Weird, but like I said, good for us and Maddon is one lucky motherf*cker.

I'm baffled that Quintana was nibbling and put Maddon in that position
Had to make up for Edwards and his shit and then he goes out there walks Werth and whatever else
Quintana wasn't it, quick audible..no time to fret, gettem out

yea and if that's how you're gonna treat Quintana and you can stretch Davis, why not do it the way the Dodgers did: You put in your closer, see how far he can get you, then bring in the starter as an emergency to close things up only if needed? Now, you're leaving Wade out there to dry

best guess would be Lackey I guess? Maybe they throw Quintana though, since today he only threw 12 pitches and it could be similar to a bullpen. But yeah, Arrieta/Lester would only be on 2 days rest, Kyle can't go until Game 3 I'd bet.

Wow....this game is like watching two trains on the same track, heading for each other, loaded with natural gas, liquid propane, radioactive waste, nitro-glycerine, Semtech, C4, with detonators, anthrax, and 300 tonnes of cow manure each....

"Javier Baez made that double play look simple" It was simple. It was hit right to him at a decent speed.
