From everything I've read and heard, Chris Taylor is still the CF
And God help us if he isn't
Chris Taylor showed up like Rick Grimes

What Chris did was amazing but 2017 was a breakout year no guarantee it can be repeatable, it's all about contingencies with this FO. Hoping he repeats it obviously.

    idk
wasn't like he just had a great year
he completely retooled his swing (eliminating loop/hole) and was able to repeat it (in) over 500 at bats
i'm pretty confident the taylor we saw last year is the taylor we'll get going forward

We know number of options behind Taylor aren't a problem. Between Joc, Toles, and Verdugo they have those..probably expecting a better go from Trayce as well.
The fact that they tried to deal Puig for Jackie Bradley Jr. would seem to indicate that they don't want Taylor to stay in CF full time
But they still need to rid themselves of Kemp if we're talking corner OF

Yeah, think Taylor's all good at the plate
Kemp, Puig, Ethier = the Hydra
Slice Ethier's head off and Kemp replaces it or however it goes
As soon as they do trade Kemp ( again), Ethier will just reappear in his place
    They're unstoppable, resistance is futile

Outside of Seager, I think Chris Taylor is the player we can count on the most. I’m confident in Bellinger, Turner, and Puig, but I think they are all bigger question marks than CT3.

You don't get to ask. That's why its chosen.
And in Japanese Chosen does not mean Jew it means Korean
But is there really a difference? What is Kim but Arafat with nukes.
Remember that many are called, but few are chosen.
And that many have phone numbers, but few are unlisted.
The few, the proud, the Myrmidons.

And that ends my haiku for the day.

Agreed. Think most of the questions marks are in the bullpen. Other than pitching though, I’m honestly only slightly worried about LF.

Count on to repeat their performance.
Have to consider that Turner just went .897 OPS in 2014
    .861 in 2015
    .832 in 2016
And then out of the blue, .945 in 2017
Pretty reasonable to not expect him to duplicate the .945 this year

I guess with that caveat but it’s much more likely Turner is a good player this year than Taylor

We were talking about repeating performances in Taylor's case as well and irish made good points there
But both Fangraphs and BR expects Taylor to hover around .800, down from .850, which would still be a well above average hitter
My gripe would be on Bellinger's behalf
There's the soph slump argument, but he's always been really good about adjusting, so one could expect him to be just fine
Quite a bit of LAD fans wanted him to go down to AAA and work out stuff when he was in slumps during the season, but we saw him adjust at the big league level and eventually come out of those slumps multiple times last season
He never really went through the kind of unbelievable slump that Judge went through
I feel like Bellinger could be a steady as she goes type, he has the make up to be like Seager in that way
He obviously never got to #1 overall spec in MiLB status because he was needed early, but he was heading for it..this is a really good player, it's not a mirage
If we get .850 out of Turner I'll be happy

X-Files needs to be cancelled, I get scared every time I see "Scully" trending on twitter.
