    Montreal should not get the Expos back, let the Expos die.
    Just call the new Canadian team is the Montreal Mounties already.
    Or maybe the Canadian Lynx, or the Montreal Canadiens and have them owned by the same people who own les habitants.

    Portland's baseball team can be called the Hipsters or hell just call them the Fire to go along with the Blazers.
    If they get a hockey team it can be called the Trees.

    When is Louisville gonna get a team? We need a team named the Sluggers in this MLB.

    Same. Though I could see a 5 year deal for a guy who will be 32 shortly after opening day, and relies heavily on his athleticism not ending well.

    Agree...no big thing really.
    Of course, he wasn't the only guy available this post season, I don't think.
    But some just expect one of the richest ( #1, #2?) teams in baseball to try a wee bit harder.

    The 2017 Dodgers were probably the best Dodger team in 40 years and they still didn't win the World Series. No matter what we do it doesn't matter.

    The 88 Dodgers were the worst team to win in the past 40 years, so it doesn't really matter.

    The important thing to note with the Brewers recent acquisition of players is that Jonathan Villar can be had!

    Sheffield, Rios, Verdugo, Brock, Stripling, and Grandal for Villar and Domingo Santana.

    2B: Taylor
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    1B: Bellinger
    RF: Puig
    LF: Santana
    DH: Kemp
    C : Barnes
    CF: Joc

    Bench of Kike, Villar, Logan, Toles, Farmer

    That lineup is murder.
    Might not have the star power of the yankees but it would kill just the same.

    The bigger implication for us is that with the Brewers biting on a 5 year deal and a no trade clause, I don’t think we’re signing Yu or Jake because they are going to ask for at least 5 years, and I don’t think this front office is going to give those two that length or a no trade.

    I think the market is now set, and those terms are not something the Dodgers are interested in this year. They are going for next season.
