Career .300 hitter vs lefties. Think we could use some help there?

Freese and Madson are pretty good acquisitions at this point in the year. Well done, Friedman.

I agree. There wasn't a lot available, and the Front Office added to definite areas of need.

But there was a lot available at the July deadline and either the FO whiffed (appropriate for the 2018 Dodgers) or didn't choose to make a deal.

Money money money. CAN'T go over the tax threshold. They squeezed Madson and Freese in because it was later in the year. Hopefully he works out better than Axeford. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a little help from Puig and his timely injury..he was likely heading to Baltimore for Britton

Idk much about Dozier, but defensively, he looks like he'll make the spectacular play now and then, and drop the most basic two hopper directly at him.
The balls he boots seems like a lack of concentration...too much time to think.
Maybe why he makes the improbable plays- no time to think.
Must be too much hair spray.

All in all, looking at the attendance and hearing that crowd last night, Dave's little fireside chat worked like a charm.

Dodger stadium is always packed on Saturdays. This afternoon there will be a sea of empty seats most likely. They never draw big in day games, even the playoffs. They lead the league in attendance and playing in a large venue doesn't help the perception...the Cubs, Sox, Giants, etc can draw 35k and look like a sell out. Put 35-45K in Dodger Stadium with pastel colored seats and it looks empty. Dave should shut up, honestly. They're lucky to get the crowds they get. More than any other team. So why call us out?

Well Idk why for sure he did it...maybe he thought it was a way to get some mojo working. To a person not in know, or in the LA loop like myself, it seemed like an attempt to come together.
Simplistic I guess...wasn't laying undying support at his feet just making an observation, that's all. Obviously in error.
Wasn't thinking about seat color or the weekend habits of Los Angelenos.
    I stand corrected.
