Sounds about right
I love Puig and he was the only one who grew a sack in the playoffs, but I don't really lose sleep at night knowing he's gone. His presence/absence doesnt move the needle much either way. Kemp sucks. Wood can never put it together for more than a few months at a time. Grandal is a streaky bkitch.
I'm concerned about our depth, especially because we have needed every bit of it in years past, but I'm not specifically upset about trading those guys away/letting them walk.
I just want to get better. The 2017 Dodgers were the best team we had in 40 years and we didnt win. It sucks that ownership has decided to get worse in each subsequent year.
Dear Dodger Management
& 1988 Blues
But can he catch balls thrown at his general direction?
I feel the same about everything you just said.
In addition, I'm not sure why people are just assuming we will win the division this year. Sure, we should have a better chance than anyone else in our division, but I'm hardly confident as fuck about it. Last year it took us 163 games to win our division, and (no offense to the Brewers or Braves) we won the NL Pennant in one of the weakest playoff fields in recent memory. The 2018 Dodgers weren't really that good.
Looks like the Dodgers strategy is “the NL west sucks and isn’t gonna try so we don’t need to do anything”
Which is fucking dumb and boring
LeMahieu to Yanks on a 2 year deal
Guess the Dodgers are totally cool with the fact that the Astros and Red Sox are significantly better than us.
Well I guess you can write off the Skankees for Mehchado
So why are they overbidding this massive amount of money knowing that the major markets are out
He is s Philly or White Sox
The way other teams have improved in the other division I don’t see how we will make another post season showing and even if we do
We will be overmatched by the Super Teams of the American League
Doesn't sound like they were ever really in. They never made an offer and I think they were majorly turned off by his attitude in the playoffs.
Not true, from their perspective....
Dodgers led in attendance and had every possible home game in their stadium. GuGGs wins, we lose
Honestly not broken up about LeMahieu. As I mentioned earlier in the offseason, his bat looked slow and he was overmatched by good pitching. Dude can't hit out of Coors and couldn't either before joining the club. Too many red flags on him.
This off-season makes no sense
he will be a bust
I also see these guys like LeMahieu signing these reasonable contracts and makes me seriously doubt if the Dodgers were even interested at all.
Only player I am interested in is Harper. I was not to impressed with Machado. He is talented but he is not in the same category as Manny Ramirez lethal bat. But his defense was awesome and that rocket arm I cannot knock
