No word as of yet on the Arb guys
Everyone here longer than 6 years knows how bad I’ve wanted Russ since he left. Kinda sucks that he’s bad now but, top 5 all time favorite Dodger. Hope he has a 2018 Kemp year left in him.
We're doing out best to get those 06-10 teams NL rings
Can't wait until we trade for Kershaw from the Texas Rangers in 2027.
According to cots baseball contracts the ARB eligible players are Joc, CT3, Kike, Corey, Fields, Pedro and Yimi.
peter: "he gets on base catches baseballs."
I wonder if Paul Lo Duca is available...
lol, i actually have a loduca jersey somewhere
not the player he once was, don't care -- he plays with fire and [big plus] catches baseballs thrown his way
fuck grandal and fuck realmuto's price tag
if it's between russ, hundley and cervelli -- give me russ (homo)
solid signing, improve offensively elsewhere
and please no pollock
wood and kersh combined to throw 6 shutout innings (after it was too late)
whoever's decision it was to start darvish should have been fired
and i believe upper mgmt felt they would have looked dumb acquiring darvish and not starting him in game 7
He's available on Twitter and worth following... Dude has some funny shit to say sometimes.
Friedman pulls out another old name to pacify fans. Corny routine
Seriously, the catching position is not something to panic over. League wide, it has become an issue and while neither catcher on the 25 man is coming off of great hitting seasons, both Barnes and Martin are viewed in the top 5-10 defenders/framers/pitch callers in the game. Not to mention, we are only a season removed from Austin Barnes having a .900 OPS, so it is not like his 2018 should be expected to be the new norm. After the trade went down, Craig Mish reported that the Marlins never budged and said that they wouldn't even talk to the Dodgers until they included Bellinger, so options were never that great. Now that they potentially got catcher figured out for fairly cheap and without a hefty prospect capital, they need to get the fuck out there and fill the LF and 2B holes with some legit talent.
If Pollock could play 130 games and give us .290/.360/15 dingers/ 15 K% from the RH side of the plate with solid defense, I'd be down.
Not 0n a long-term deal though, which the Braves may give him
Can we get Trayce Thompson back? He'd be nice to have on our team so the rest of the players don't look so bad
I wonder if they are still even trying to move Hill at this point. It would make sense if they did just as a way to free up any extra money that they can if that really is so important to this FO. They certainly still have the pitching depth where it makes sense to do at this point.
