SP and BP is a fine line. Go ask Maeda. Would you want him to start in the PS or WS?
Pollock was insurance for the spec and the spec was insurance for Pollock.
Nerds like to cover their bases.
less shitty ones, yes
and yet, the ultimate prize ( the one we believed in when we were kids anyway), hasn't changed at all...we still don't have it.
We don't know how.
adding the tv and monogram were easy
but sliding in (pun) the copy of blueboy was no easy task...
and probably went unnoticed because you fkags have copies of your own
roberts math... .223/.287/.330 > .300/.353/.471
fuck pollock, although i agree he shouldn't lose his job due to injury -- he should lose it because he fucken sucks
and wtf does he mean it would keep guys comfortable?
seems like they're pretty comfortable with verdugo out there
Dave Roberts believes a player should not lose his job to injury. So no matter how much Alex Verdugo impresses with his lively bat and wows with his athleticism and powerful arm, the rookie center fielder is not expected to remain a starter when veteran A.J. Pollock returns from a right-elbow infection.
“I expect Alex to continue to play well, but when A.J. comes back, he’s gonna play,” Roberts said before Friday night’s game. “Right now, as we sit here, I expect A.J. to play center field. There’s something to keeping guys comfortable and we’re definitely fine with A.J. there.”
“If we do end up in a position where we’re selling and looking to get some future talent, you actually want to be trading in the division because you want to weaken your rivals in future years, and you want them to push more chips in to the present. In a way, it actually benefits you more. Maybe the Dodgers are a special case, and I think most fans would say it’s not maybe, they’re just a special case. But in general, I actually think trading in the division has a strategic advantage.”
Fucking Zaidi must get his material from Professor Irwin Corey.
Fluffed it for ya!
reminds me Irish... we need new logos for DSP.
So thats how we draft so well.
Tommy showed up at Beltre's number retirement

beltre's reaction was great
legit surprised and honored
One of his former managers/agents is a close friend of the family. When he found out Mondesi had surpassed Brett Butler as my favorite player, he brought me to his house (I was a little kid at the time) and showed me his EXTENSIVE autograph collection. He finished it by showing me the pathetic scribble Raul had done for his son and then he handed me a Brett Butler signed ball, personalized just for me. He explained to me that more things mattered than what the guy does on the field and that for reasons beyond what he could explain, Mondesi was not a good guy and I should pick a better role model. It definitely worked and it never surprise’s me to hear how big of a piece of shit Mondesi is/was.
Hand or Vasquez would cost us, but either could do wonders for this bullpen, and we need upgrades this year, not 2-3 years from now when prospects will be ready. Question is, could Roberts make multiple "closers" buy-in to the team goals?
Dodgers need both of them. Or at least one of them, paired with an elite RHP.
Getting one bullpen arm isn't getting it done. Need 2 ELITE
dominican authorities now saying ortiz was target of murder for hire
