Scenarios for Italy vs Mexico tomorrow assuming it’s nine innings:

Italy wins: Italy + USA advance

Mexico wins and scores 6 or more runs: Mexico + USA advance

Mexico wins and scores less than 5 runs: Mexico + Italy advance

Mexico wins and scores exactly 5 runs: Mexico advances, final spot down to earned runs per inning played against tied opponents , and if that is equal then it’s down to batting average in those games, and if that’s equal it’s drawing.

Dodgers announced that they have to delay their visit to the WH until later in the year, won't be able to do it when in DC due to logistical reasons, may try to fit it in during the AS break. Of course, everyone wants to make this political again.

Yawn... they went last year. I couldn't care less whether they make it happen again or not. Me personally, if I toured the WH and met the President once, I'd consider it a hassle to have to do it again. Sure, there are the Snells, Rushings, Kims, etc that didn't get that chance previously, and for them it could be cool. But honestly if it's going to be all about politics every year, I'd rather MLB just kill the tradition.

Blake Snell said his goal is to be back before the end of April –– but that he and the team are still nailing down an exact timeline.

Dave Roberts said six weeks is "the floor" for how much longer his recovery will take. Today, Snell's bullpen was only 15 pitches, all fastballs, 87-88 mph. Wasn't max effort yet.
