one of the greatest tweets/x posts ever…

    @BaseballWRLD_
Diamondbacks: “We’re in the middle of a tight playoff race, we need all of our star players to have any chance of winning this thing!”

    Ketel Marte:

for those unfamiliar with the situation, marte essentially went AWOL on the d’bags and was then spotted at a casino gambling while the d’bags were playing
instead of suspending marte, the spineless d’bags put him on the IL

But if the Dodgers were on the schedule, he’d be first at the stadium and hit .750 for the series

glad they had captions since someone insists on blasting shit music at massive decibels at all times. not sure what the point of Kasten doing that was either.

Agreed on the loud shit music. The NBA started it many years ago and for some reason the Dodgers think it's good for baseball too.

Anyhow, Kasten thought he'd come down and put everyone's mind to ease and instead had the opposite effect. The reporters weren't buying it.

It's just as bad at Sofi for Rams' games.

    Yeah, man...that's just fucking sad.
Hope he lands somewhere. Damn, life is cruel sometimes.
And in keeping with this...I propose to keep the kid Thomas after Pages comes back, DFA Teo, and put Thomas in LF.
He has to be a far better fielder and really...is Teo worth anything at the plate anymore ??

even w this whole shitty season he's had to this point...we really need the guy to pull it together and put it behind him. its likely the difference in 3 peat or nice try w the Pages injury. cmon Tucker i know you've got it in you. its not about the money at some point. prove everyone wrong and dig down you lustful bastard. focus on taking kirsten in doggy w both hands on that fat ass and of course she looks back and asks "how does it feel!"

Huge series indeed. After a quick glance at the remaining games for all three teams, just based on W-L records, it seems Dodgers may have the easiest schedule, while the Braves' is the hardest. In fact, unless LAD gives them an opportunity to go for a top-2 seed, Atlanta's biggest concern will be simply staving off the red hot Phillies - they still face them 7 times. Dodgers have this series and one against the suddenly less dysfunctional Padres, but the schedule is fairly benign otherwise. Of course, we've seen Dodgers get complacent and play down to the competition, so hopefully they are up for this series and find a way to expand that margin vs the Braves. Also, I really wish they'd add either JDP or Sirota to the 40-man before 9/1, just to have another option for left field. Kike and Call can't be the only two options.

Dodgers pen has a clear “top four” at the moment when it comes to trust: Tanner Scott, Brock Stewart, Edgardo Henriquez and Jack Dreyer.

    Evan Phillips lurking…

I wonder where Treinen would fit in there. He hasn't been scored upon in 4 OKC appearances.

funny i thought about him too (no homo)
would be easy to dismiss him, but when he’s right he’s about as unhittable as it gets
