    Technically he's right, but there's a fine line between confidence and complacency, and both he and Betts with his similar sentiment earlier are probably not accounting for the fact that everyone is a year older than last year, except Tucker who's about ten years older than last year.

    Wish LAD had the balls to just pay him to stay home for the rest of the season.

    Invite him to spring training each of the next 3 seasons to compete for the job.

    Then again, embarrassing him like that might give the Dodgers a bad reputation with players.

    BREAKING: Shohei Ohtani is out of the Dodgers lineup for their finale vs the Cardinals tonight.

    Ohtani looked very uncomfortable last night as he went 0-4 with 4 strikeouts.

    Dave Roberts will speak to the media at 4 pm so we’ll know more soon.

    Dave Roberts sent Shohei Ohtani a text after last night’s game he would not be in tonight’s lineup.

    Roberts said Ohtani had discomfort in his right bicep and neck last night. Symptoms haven’t gotten better.

    Placing Ohtani on IL isn’t completely off the table.
