He's an upgrade over any of our 3rd string catchers, yes, but idk if I can call this move huge He's got familiarity with our staff which is a plus He can catch the ball which is a plus But he'll be dfad if/when Will Smith comes back and the Mets will claim him off waivers again

Saw that. This is the former Astro that got suspended and then indefinitely kicked out of MLB in 2018 for busting up his lady's nose in a stairwell. Obviously he hasn't worked on his anger management issues much.
