Doyer's right on the money. If you drink soda, stop. Get into counting your calories as well. See how much you really need as opposed to how much you consume.
Soda hurts my throat so I rarely drink it. I think red meat is my thing. Burgers and steak. Just so delicious.
Eat less and workout more. I used to just run mile everyday and watch what I put in my body (I did lose 10lbs); but I'm seeing better results by running a mile and then lifting afterwords. If you work out everyday, it's not so much about what you eat, it's more about portions (especially because we're young). With that being said, you still want to eat well. If you eat shitty food, you're going to feel that way. High protein diets are also shown to help lose weight.
i hate lifting weights. In high school I'd literally just sit there until the coach looked over. lol But yeah, changing eating habits isn't a travesty for me. After 3 days it becomes routine. Just gotta stick wid it more instead of being lazy and buying cheap shit.
I'm not on the Twitter machine. I follow the insiders but just have it text to my cell. I don't understand the website at all lol
Lifting weights and jogging is so boring - but this mp3 player helps a lot: (ebay, about $9 shipped from China + skullcandy earbuds also about $9). I load it up with lectures and audio books I find on the internet. I've been through the Ancient Greeks and Romans. And some Shakespeare, both lectures and plays. (I read Cliffs Notes, too, on all of this or I'd be totally lost). Now I'm listening to Bible history. I figure I might as well get the pillars of civilization into my little brain while slugging it out every morning.
There are several calorie counter apps online. Substitute whatever snacks you are eating (IE: bag of potato chips, crackers, cookies etc) with a fruit or vegetable. An apple will keep you fuller longer, than a hand of chips. Drink water, and if you are drinking soda, don't substitute it with juice as that's pretty much the same thing. If you aren't into running, just make sure you are walking at least 30 minutes a day. Do pushups before bed and when you wake up. With both pushups/running, start off what you are comfortable with, and then continue to challenge yourself to do better. I remember a couple of years after my high school football days in college I couldn't get through an entire mile without having to stop. Now I'm running 4-6 miles easy at 7-9 minute splits whenever I go out. At the end of the day, you've got to watch what you eat and find something that interests you. For me, nothing beats me running and getting lost in my music. Also boxing is cool too if you wanna do something different.
Soooooooo dope...I really hope this happens. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nhl/...ngeles-kings-want-outdoor-game-dodger-stadium
Los Angeles is getting a new tallest building. Been in development for years but has finally broken ground. On track to be done in 2016.
