    Anybody see the Kareem documentary on HBO, Kareem: A Minority of One.

    Forgot just how dominant a player he was. And I still think he's being underrated by all the MJ era fans and writers.

    Yeah impressive documentary. IDK about being underated though, he has to be considered in the top...what...five players of all time? maybe I'm off on that, but he's up there.
    I actually played against him when he was a high school phenom named Lew Alcindor with Powell Memorial. Jaw dropping presence.
    An odd looking dude, but on the court, he was poetry in the lane...unstoppable.

    Pretty much, bro. Lol...and mind you, I was in there for rebounds. Ha!
    I bumped into him- physically I mean, in the tunnels outside the dressing rooms in the Jersey City Armory...my HS had made it to the Tri- state finals ( I think that's what it was called)...I'm 6' 2", and I was looking at his number...back in the day, his height was very unusual.
    I think Powell Memorial went on to win everything back then.
