Rejected into the stands it was.
Well, looking back on it, it was something to bump into his number like that...but at the time it was sort of" hey this giant kid from NY is going to be in the tournament ", blah, blah. He was only a senior/junior in HS then, and hadn't converted to Islam or anything yet. It was so long ago, that was still all in the future...

Just saw a bit of Antiques Roadshow...an older dude had a gold watch inscribed "to Walter Johnson from the 1910 Philadelphia Athletics" with some of the awesome stats he had that year, and also had an enamel Athletics elephant and team logo colors on it. The value as a gold watch? 200-500 dollars...to a BB collector at auction?
    Fifty thousand.
    The owner couldn't speak...

Anybody else see the new 007 flick? Pretty good... Very entertaining.
Stunts are amazing...does anyone know if a helicopter can be flown inverted? Upside down that is? I thought they couldn't, but unless it was all CGI, they did it plenty in this film. New tech, I guess.
The girl in it is an amazingly voluptuous little minx...mama mia.

    Aren't they all?

And yes, some modern copters can do barrel rolls and can to inside loops. I actually saw film of a CH-53 do barrel rolls, and that's a huge copter.

Apaches can perform these maneuvers regularly.

Not sure about commercial copters though.

This is quite possibly one of the best, intelligent, thought provocative and well done commercials I have ever seen.

By the way, are you talking about Monica Bellicci? Yes....she is the definition of sex. Plus she was a law student before someone spotted her to be a model.

The blonde is Lea Seydoux. Not bad herself.

No, not Monica. I've been a Bellucci fan for many years...I suggest a film about WW II with her in it- great..."Malena". She was also one of the lesbian vampires in the Gary Oldman Dracula.
I was talking about the young blonde...love the non- supermodel look.

Saw Malena. First saw her in Under Suspicion...the rest they say is history.

I think you're talking about Seydoux. She came out in that art house flick called Blue is the Warmest color (about a lesbian relationship).

    Ahhh.....mi amore....

Jose Reyes, the dancing monkey, a domestic violence case now...So surprising...looking at that face that exudes so much intelligence and class.
If he's found guilty, I hope they fucking crucify him.
