    I can't express strongly enough how every person should watch "Cries from Syria" on HBO...At times it is very very difficult to look at, but ultimately pulls no punches about what is going on.
    What I watched, through tears, I have no problem admitting, will change me for the rest of my life.

    lol, a few weeks ago i was thinking we should do the same thing

    I wanted to redesign the site, unban everyone who has ever been banned and then send every past member in our database to come check the new site out.
    And offer everyone a new start as long as they follow the dont be a douchebag rule.
    But now DSP will have additional rules. And people who have no changed or dont want to change will get banned right back as soon as they start with their shit.

    it is nearly impossible to be banned from dsp
    unless, as you stated, they go far and beyond being a douche
    leopards can't change their spots
    the select few who have been banned brought nothing to dsp -- except discourse and drama -- and don't deserve reconsideration
    but that's just my opinion and i'll go with whatever we all decide

    I would venture to say that they will probably have some measure of "success"from doing it.
    Whether desperation breeds "success" or not, is debateable.
