Lori Loughlin, according to folks close to the family, is leaning on her "faith" to get her through this.

If you cannot confess with your mouth that you committed a crime/sin, recognize it was wrong, and attempt to turn away from that behavior, your "faith" is just typical Hollywood self worship. Delusional.

Get your act together, lady. You're imperfect as we all are. But you screwed up big time and you're lying to yourself

    hate this cunt
    zero accountability, zero integrity
and since she clearly feels no obligation to set a good example for her children, i'm hoping the judicial system feels compelled to show them the consequences of breaking the law

    Faith, what is faith?
Was that the name of her character on the show?
We are coming to that time in our society when folks realize that words have meaning.
We constantly change the meaning of words when the meaning offends our feelings.
Someone posted something here a while back that underlined the word scheme as if it was some horrible thing.
There is nothing inherently wrong with a scheme or scheming. Except in US English.
Not in UK English though. Their public assistance programs are called schemes.

    So back to faith.
What was it Jesus said about demons. They believe all right, they believe more than most because they know.
    But do they have faith?
Who has faith in his strength, the guy who looks the strongest and can lift the most weight or the guy who works hard physical labor everyday?
When the rubber meets the road you will want hardened but elastic sinews and tendons over huge swollen pecs, delts, quads and trips.
The guy who puts in the work when its not about looking good but doing good is the one who actually has faith.
Both will say that they have faith though.
One will have faith based on his body. He should be able to get through. We would look at him and put our faith in him too. This is the guy who can be the hero! But we judge unwisely. Your body can be taken from you in an instant though. Then where is your faith now?
The other will have faith based on something else. Not his sinews actually but on the obedient patient ethic that got him them sinews. He knows that it will get him through. And nobody can take that away from him.

Lets say you were born with talent, you are chosen.
But even the chosen can fall. Talent can easily be lost or wasted.
If you were not chosen you can work hard and develop skill.
Skills gained from hard work are very difficult to lose.
And you know what they say about the difference between a talented man and one who has gained proficient skill? Not much. Other than that one has a lot to lose while the other can always find something new to practice.

T-Mac has more talent and size than Kobe.
Vince has more power and ability than Kobe.
Iverson has more dexterity and control than Kobe.
The difference between T-Mac, Vince, Iverson and Kobe is... faith.
And in basketball faith comes from knowing you can do it because you practice what you preach.
When people bring up Jordan, Kobe, Bird, Magic, LeBron, etc...they would also bring up Iversons name.
If only he would have practiced some more.

    Yeah.
She is a rich entitled person who thinks is a good person.
Most women of her age probably believe the same things about themselves and their entitlements. Shit so do most of us.

This is the epitome of a victimless crime.
Because just like I can care less about this ladies misdeeds i can care less for whomever did not get to go to the University of Spoiled Children because this lady paid a bunch of money to get their kids in.
The media makes this a big story because it helps the image.

How bout you put every single mom in jail who got a kickback for having their star basketball or football player kid go to XXXX university?
No, that does not fit the narrative.

These are private clubs essentially. If I don't get into Skull n Bones can I sue someone because they helped 'fund' a new building on campus so their son could be first in line into the secret society?
This is silly shit being passed off as news.

They just want you to run around thinking this is the real world so you get all flustered.

The mistake your making is that it is the real world. All the parables you can muster and logic (yours) doesn't change what is...just a nice presentation of what it maybe should be.
    And it's not victimless, either.

    What u don't enjoy parables?
I guess I'm not really up on the details but isn't it basically that some sorta famous sorta rich people sorta bribed their kids into a university system sorta famous for attracting sorta rich sorta famous people who sorta bribed their way in not to mention it's rich pay to play amateur sports programs which are sorta famous for their scandal.

This shit is not right obviously but it's been normalized for years and done institutionally by people who are way wealthy and powerful. You cant demonize or make examples out of people right off the bat for something a non criminal type would do thinking it was shady but not illegal or at least not a law enforced.

OK. I 'll give you this one.
And parables are fine to read, especially yours.
I was really reacting to the inference to it not being the " real world". It sure is the real world. What it's become, what it's morphed into. And I don't agree/ think there's no victim in this. We all are, those who don't have the money or even think to do something like this.
The "do as I say, not as I do" thing is ever widening, the golden age of hypocrisy, and we all know right from wrong.

doesn't absolve her of her sins
says she was doing it to help her kids... how sweet [sarcasm]
truth is she was doing it to cheat the system and get her kids preferential/bogus education
all she did was set an example of how to [try to] get over on people/the system
and her saying she doesn't think she did anything wrong is fucken sociopathic
