    I never really discount the Padres pitching a whole lot since their stadium helps them out a good bit in that department. We have said plenty over the years, "well they don't have any pitching" then some random dude becomes a star for them while playing 99 games between Petco, AT&T and DS. Not saying that they will be world beaters, but they could put together a frustrating team.

    Will be watching Max's Oswing% very carefully. If he carries over his plate discipline from 2018 and doesn't go into the garbage against LHP, I see no reason why he cannot repeat his breakout season. But if he's chasing and can't hit lefties, we will need a new cleanup hitter. Hopefully he finds his way early.

    One of the few legitimate gripes for me with the FO.
    They knew since ST that Ryu was gone for the year and still settled with Brett Anderson as our #3
