    The guy we signed Robert Upshaw is supposed to be super talented but a major headcase. Will be interesting to see if he works out.

    Led the nation in blocks/minute...until he got kicked out of school (for the second time).
    Even with the head case status, he was projecting late first round until he had some kind of heart condition during the combines.
    If he gets healthy and gets it together, definitely can be a DeAndre Jordan type. Awesome that the Lakers got him without a draft pick...no risk, high reward.

    Brook Lopez is the forgotten man among the FA bigs. just barely turned 27. not so much a poor man's Aldridge because he's better than that, but yeah..he's a decent option too.

    Yea, it's definitely a very high reward type of a signing. Hopefully the kid can get his shit together and play. You never know, but franchises like the Lakers can turn kids like this around because they are legendary and that allure can by itself turn someone's mentality around.

    Free agent center DeAndre Jordan has narrowed down a list of teams he will meet with during his courting when free agency kicks off, according to the Los Angeles Times.

    Jordan, who made the All-NBA Third Team last season, will take meetings with the Clippers, Lakers, Mavericks and Bucks.





    better keep Jordan Hill if this happens and try to deal Young to free up the necessary cap space. gonna need a competent center behind Deandre..one that can hit free throws and play effective defense as well. hack-a-Dre is real.
