Miami absolutely stole him at #10. Unbelievable, I thought he was a top 5 player.

Report: Rift exists between DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul; Jordan to visit with Lakers, Mavs, Bucks, Knicks in free agency

The season ended with Rivers denying reports Jordan and Chris Paul had a beef with each other.

But other NBA officials not authorized to speak publicly on the matter said there indeed is a rift between Jordan and Paul.

The officials said Jordan wants to be more involved in the offense and wants to be an All-Star, and he’s not sure whether those things can happen on the Clippers with All-Stars Paul and Blake Griffin.

gotta tell ya..i don't want Deandre comin to the Lakers thinkin he's about to become a major offensive weapon either. ain nobody got time for that. i appreciate the drive to get better or whatever, but nah..just block shots and catch oops, bruh. not about to have the Dwight shit all over again. 27/28 year old dudes thinkin they can just all of a sudden become big time scorers when they've never been such. nah.

That makes more sense, since they're stockpiling guards up there.
Surprised Philly didn't find a way to get Kaminski.

EXPERT: STADIUM DEAL IS BAD FOR RAIDERS

The president of a consulting firm that specializes in NFL stadium deals said the financing plan for a new stadium makes a potential return to Los Angeles look more attractive. It includes a provision that would sell 20% of the team for $200M. "This is not just the worst stadium proposal I've seen," he said. "It's the worst by far." (Via Bay Area News Group)

Carson isn't happening. Kreonke is building in December. League knows it and is only entertaining that toxic dump in Carson as a last ditch effort to get something on the table in SD/OAK.

Kreonke is the owner to make L.A work. The Rams moving to Anaheim in 1980 and the Raiders swooping into the Coliseum during the N.W.A years killed the Rams mainstream legacy in LA. But they were called the LA Rams for 49 years and were as Hollywood as any team before the Coliseum commission forced their hand out to Orange County. The Rams haven't been the most popular team in LA for 25+ years...that belongs to the Raiders...BUT the Rams are the best bet. Best ownership, deepest pockets, better privately financed stadium, better location, better team, and better brand in terms of attracting corporate sponsors and families.

I want it to be the Los Angeles Rams in Inglewood with the Los Angeles Raiders as tenants. But it will unfortunately be the Chargers joining the Rams most likely.

I hate the Chargers in all of this. Whining about having tried to find a solution in SD for "14 years". B.S. You're sitting on your butts, taking LA for granted. All we are is a backup plan to you. Then Kreonke, a billionare with the desire to take LA comes along and all of a sudden you want to claim this market.

NOBODY likes the Chargers. There is a large vocal Rams presence in this NFL-to-LA saga and the Raiders are huge here. Those are the teams LA wants. But the Chargers have to try and ruin everything.

Of all 3 markets, Saint Louis is the only city to actually VIOLATE THEIR CONTRACT. Oakland and SD have been bad, but haven't failed to fulfill any lease or legal obligations to their teams. St. Louis made insane promises to the Rams to get them to move from LA to STL...they are OBLIGATED LEGALLY to provide the Rams a top teir stadium AT NO COST TO THE RAMS for 30 years.

STL failed to do so and the Rams are franchise free agents. Now STL is proposing some second-rate stadium in in STL...and people for some reason think that STL is building Stan Kreonke a brand new stadium...FALSE! They haven't secured the land, they are facing legal challenges securing the financing (extending debt without a public vote)...AND THEY NEED STAN TO CONTRIBUTE 450 million of his own money for a stadium he doesn't own?!!?!?! So no..STL is NOT building Stan a stadium. They are building THEMSELVES a stadium and asking Stan to pay for half of it.

If the league somehow does stop Kreonke (would be stupid to do it), STL will still not build that stadium. He will play out year to year in the current stadium. The NFL can't force Stan to pay for a stadium he doesn't want. Not gonna happen.

Kreonke will build in Inglewood. I have NO doubt. Hopefully for Raider fans they get the second seat but I don't think so. I think the stupid Chargers join the Rams. The relocation fees and future proceeds from hosting the superbowl will help Oakland bridge the funding gap for their stadium.

Inglewood is so buttoned up, clean, and ready to go. Carson is a mess of hot air, swiss cheese, and toxic waste. Ran by idiots.

It's also funny to me how anyone thinks putting TWO TEAMS AT THE SAME TIME is the best way to go. You're going to totally over-saturate the market. It needs to be one team at first. I.e Rams play at the Rosebowl until Inglewood is complete and then a second team joins in 2018 with the brand new stadium.

Don't listen to anything the Chargers say. Fabiani, Policy, Mayor Robles, etc. They're all manipulating you.

Kreonke can just sit back and wait. These guys are trying to play catch up and make people believe it's actually a race.

so who would sell 20% of the team for that price? Mark Davis, who already doesn't own a majority share, or others?

    TB,

You boiled it all down quite accurately as far as I see but with a single error... who cares for the Chargers? The people of San Diego. Good then the Chargers should stay there. I'm down in SD a lot and when the Chargers are playing you can tell that the city is into it, they're on all the beach side bar screens, people wearing uniforms etc... so whatever but they should stay.

Putting two 'home' teams in a building is bad juju. The Staples center ceiling and walls now has to be re-rigged between every NBA game, and everything has to be in nuetral colors instead of HOME colors.

To repeat that fiasco in a football stadium is insanity. Do you want people to simply attend to watch the sport or to cheer for a team???

And like you said to bring in two at once is even greater lunacy.

Bring back the Rams. Stop. Wait 10-20 years and see how things go. Tempus fugit

Naaa son you missed the point...

Two home teams in one city is one thing, sure LA is big enough for two..

Two home teams in one building is plain wrong.

I meant one team for the first 3 seasons and then bring in the second team.

@CapnTreee I meant nobody in LA likes the Chargers.

So I'll split the over under first team advantage to 5 years and we agree

@THINKBLUE I meant the same and they are liked where they are at. Owners should quit kicking the hornets nest of popular support by threatening to leave. If any of them built with their OWN money, ala Kreonke, then they wouldn't have to put up with self righteous Colliseum Commissions and random Tri-County Metro Resource Authorities.

I like what Kreonke's doing.. he's just a decade late.

    I like them. :(

Although if the Rams were to move back and we have an actual team in Los Angeles, I'd root for them.

Jordan Hill has been informed that the Lakers will not pick-up his option for the 2015-16 season. I may be reading too much into it, but with the taking of Russell and now this, the FO must feel very, very confident about signing one of the premier big guys on the FA market.

Also, it seems now that we are clearly Jimmy Butler's preferred destination on a 1-year deal. I really hope we can get him and then sign him after next year.
