Combine Joey Crawford and Tim Duncan and you get arguably the most ridiculous moment in NBA history. Still can't believe it.

 

Oh yeah? Sheed probably deserved it tho. Haha Sheed was easily the most ridiculous in these regards. A Sheed vs. Lou Pinella tirade video/mix needs to be whipped up by somebody. It'd be a hit.

I remember one game, Sheed was on the floor in live action just basically staring at a ref for minutes of play. smh The ref finally said enough and tossed his ass for tryin to intimidate him. That may have been Javie too. Of course ESPN had to hire the prick to do ref analysis. Sheed tracked down the refs after the Game 7 loss @ Staples in 2010 too. Haha Showed up at the ref's dressing room, waiting outside the door and shit.

 

Luckily for the both of them.. Joey Crawford and Steve Javie were just refs and not cops cause then they would have gotten murked!

 

I want Kam Chancellor on the Raiders. Wouldn't make much sense to send draft picks for him since they're not ready to win just yet, but IDGAF. Lol He'd be a hell of a presence in silver and black and in that secondary. Ken Norton Jr. needs to be checking in on that situation daily.

BLF do you think this will affect the relationship in the future? I was quite surprised.

 

I thought it was funny, but clearly he needs to not be a mess in front of boosters and, most importantly, his players as they will lose respect for him.

I'm sure he'll learn from it and move on, but it has to be the last time.

 

Comin up aces in these last couple drafts. Texans take Clowney and leave us with Mack...Clowney gets hurt and misses much of the season. Pass on Kevin White and take Coop instead...White gets hurt and will probably miss much of this season.


While I'm typing this...Jordy Nelson knee injury...doesn't look good.

The Lakers have promoted Ryan West to director of player personnel.

West, formerly the team's assistant director of scouting, started as a scout for the team in 2009. He also worked as a scout for the Memphis Grizzlies for almost eight years.

A team spokesman confirmed West's change in title, although an official announcement won't be made until September.

Along with Jesse Buss, the Lakers' director of scouting, West was a driving force in the draft-day trade with the Washington Wizards for guard Jordan Clarkson.

The Lakers sent $1.8 million to the Wizards for the 46th overall pick in the 2014 draft. Clarkson proved to be one of the top players in his class, named to the all-rookie first team by the NBA.

West is the son of Lakers legend Jerry West, who won a title with the franchise in 1972. Jerry West was the general manager who in 1996 orchestrated the pairing of Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant.
