My only issue with coaching is their idea of using TJ Carrie as a punt returner when the secondary is already banged up as it is. That shit was stupid as hell and of course he ended up getting hurt. Now they wanna use Coop and get him hurt too. Smh I'm not mad at Norton and Del Rio for implementing their system without quite having all the pieces. Can't lose sight of this still being a rebuilding year and they have to see who from this group is gonna be able to stick past this year. Amerson looked pretty good..might be a keeper.

Pat Haden and USC showing their class like they always do. USC AD, Pat Haden, sent Myles Jack a letter wishing him a speedy recovery and showing him respect.

    http://usc.247sports.com/Board/29/C...-get-well-letter-to-UCLAs-Myles-Jack-40011722

On a side note, Jack has announced that he will not come back and is entering the NFL draft. Something super interesting here is that he has left UCLA....very, very weird. I have always said that Mora is a scumbag and that he treats his players very poorly, so I wouldn't be surprised if this has to do with that.

pat haden has always been a class act and usc is fortunate to have him at the helm

    never been a mora fan
seems like there's a disconnect between him and his players
and some of his play calling... :headscratch:

It's very weird because he is giving up free education at one of the top universities in the country. Either he is stupid, or he is stupid.

ALAMEDA – The Santa Clara County District Attorney charged Raiders edge rusher Aldon Smith with misdemeanor counts of DUI with a prior conviction, hit-and-run with property damage and vandalism under $400.

Those charges were levied on Sept. 11. His arraignment was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but that hearing has been vacated.

According to the Santa Clara County DA, Smith’s attorney filed a clerks arraignment on Sept. 29, where the 25-year old pled not guilty to the charges against him and a pretrial date was set.

The next court date assigned to Smith’s charges is currently scheduled for the afternoon of Nov. 4.

Seriously... Myles acts like school will detract from his rehab process...lmao foh Bruh you got class maybe 2-3 hours a day on average. The hardest part is walking to class and I'm sure if that's an issue it could be accommodated for.

At the end of the day a large amount of athletes can care less about education. Their eyes are on the $$$$ and the pro leagues.. Education is probably like 5th or 6th on their list... If they even value it

So duck them if they don't make it in the league, go broke and can't do shit after... They deserve it

Thank God Russell is ok. Seen my Lakers life flash before me.

Randle is a fucking beast. I've always been a huge fan. He's showing that something now. Hibbert played really well. Kobe looked aight. Team looked pretty fun.

Kobe looked great tonight. Efficient, hitting some 3s and a number of nice passes but the big story was randle. dude was beastly. Russell should be OK thank Christ. And love hibberts play. Lol and laughing after booker throws a bitch swipe. Can't remember the last time I enjoyed watching LAL basketball. Maybe kobes game against lebron last year but thats it in about 3 years.

Man, I was fired up watchin a preaseason game..thats just great in itself. Randle ballin and being physical on both ends, guys gettin slapped, Brandon Bass bodying dudes, Kobe playing well, Hibbert was moving really well..good action.

However, Metta pretty much turned this game around with his defense and intensity because it was lookin pretty damn bad early on.

Randle flashed that " LeBron " like physically imposing presence that Metta was talking about a month ago. One time Randle just blitzed Trey Burke on a defensive switch, basically bullied his way to a steal and then steamrolled coast to coast for the 2 hand monster jam. It was beautiful. I saw the light.
