League denying report that the one deep ball down the seam to Coop deflected off the spider-wire cam that hangs over the field, but it did look like something hit the ball throwing Coop's timing off.
That was probably the ultimate WTF moment of the night, at least more WTF worthy than missing Richard for the TD.
Considering all the different ways the Chefs win games, the ball probably hit the only bird in the state that hadn't flown south yet.
Anyway, RAIDERS should at least consider sitting Carr after this long week off and resting his pinky @ SD.
If they get win #11 and officially stamp the trip to the playoffs w/o him @ SD, get him some extra rest by sitting him the following week VS Indy as well, and then bring him back for the final game @ Denver as sort of a warm up for the playoffs.

Depends on the HC hire, they may or may not want to keep the GM and may or may not want complete control. What an exciting day today!! Our Dodger guys are back and Fisher FINALLY gets canned AND there are so many famous names being connected to the job like the Harbaugh's, Jon Gruden etc.

I just knew the relocation and dumb draft trade would be good enough excuses to buy Fisher at least another season.
Everybody was calling for Fisher to be fired, even fans of other teams. Lol
I will say this..good luck to whomever gets the job because they have no draft picks and a team that needs a ton of talent on the offensive line and at WR/TE.
Probably gonna need a QB too

Eric Dickerson says he'll return to Rams games now

Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson says he will return to Los Angeles Rams games now that coach Jeff Fisher has been fired.
"Of course I will go to the games now," Dickerson told Colin Cowherd on "The Herd" radio show moments after Fisher was let go Monday.

Fisher, Dickerson said, told him in late November that he didn't want him on the sideline during games. Fisher said Dickerson's public comments disparaging the team had made players "uncomfortable."

"I am not shocked," Dickerson told "The Herd" regarding the firing. "I think it's something that had to happen. You have the players giving up on you; you have to make a change."

"I have said this before, it is all about winning. ... The Los Angeles Rams fans deserve more, better than that. I just want us to win."

The Rams fired Fisher one day after the team endured its fourth straight loss and eighth setback in the past nine games. The Rams lost 42-14 to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, dropping the team to 4-9 for the season. Fisher was 31-45-1 in nearly five seasons with the Rams.

"I am not hating on Jeff. I am not mad at him," Dickerson said. "But I can't feel sorry for a guy who's made $35 million coaching. He'll be OK. It is what it is. When they cut players, they went in another direction; we are just going another direction here also."

Fisher just laughing all the way to the bank

We don't have the 1st rounder I know but there still the picks in rounds 2 through 7 although the 3rd rounder is tied to the trade in some way. Plus 46 million under the cap but given their history of botching this shit up who knows what they'll do.

Only way they keep their 3rd rounder is if they land a compensatory pick in that round.
Tough not having their 1st rounder, but at least they have a 2nd rounder.
So many holes to fill on offense, seems like even more when you consider all they gave up for Goff..when they could've held their position and just took a Dak Prescott or Connor Cook later in the draft

At least Fisher is gone... so the team is better as of now

And anyone that dropped a 3rd down pass would sit out the 1st quarter in my old coaches book. Star or not you can't be killing drives by mental errors.

Of course I'd of sent Mike Thomas to the bench for that opening play fumble too

Start benching these prima donnas when they fuck up and you force them to pay more attention. Dropped pass? Meet the bench. Fumble? Meet the bench. Blown block? Meet the bench. Half assed effort running pass route and not looking at the QB when he's in need of help? Showers.

Old school coaching for the win.

Fuck Dickerson for being a self indulgent prick and for quitting on the Rams on a Monday night in Cleveland.

HOF player and a HOF asshole.

They wanted a QB who they felt could step in and play right away.

No one thought that was either Prescott or Cook at the time of the draft.

A bit early to declare Goff a bust and I agree that they gave up way too much to get him.

I agree about Goff and the Cowboys have the best offensive line in the league which helps balance the attack obviously and makes the QB's job easier.

Can say the same for Goff and Wentz.
When that much draft compensation is involved the player should be a can't miss star talent.
Didn't have to know any secrets about Prescott before the draft, only that he wouldn't cost a load of draft picks
