Colts' time of possession: 37 minutes KC: 22 minutes If I'm the RAIDERS I think we have the tools necessary to do that, probably very confident given that they had a 10-0 lead on KC before giving it all away and then some in the 2nd quarter of that game. Defense just has to do better and get KC off the damn field on 3rd and long..those long 3rd down conversions ( some for TDs) were unacceptable and back-breaking. But we just saw KC play a game VS Detroit that they probably should've lost and then they lose to the Colts, so they're not invulnerable. Obviously, not a new thing at all. Peyton went without a defense for a long time in Indy and that was the approach against his high scoring teams and why they usually fell short. Just make that offense watch from the sideline. Now, my question is..RAIDERS VS Green Bay in Lambeau next week, coming off the BYE..can we run the ball against that GB defense that couldn't stop the Eagles' running attack? A running game/strong O-line will travel. To my eye, GB is the best team in the NFC..I give it to them by an eyelash over the Saints, for now. That'd be an incredible win
Raiders on NBCS@NBCSRaiders The Raiders reportedly have traded for Bills wide receiver Zay Jones, who was a second-round pick in 2017 Chris Mortensen@mortreport The @Bills have traded WR Zay Jones to @Raiders for 2021 fifth round pick I don't hate it. Had to do somethin. Imagine they tried for other guys and found the prices to be ridiculous and so they bought low on a guy that produced pretty well last season with a QB that can't hit the broadside of a barn. Carr's accuracy should help out. And he's a physical guy that blocks. BYE week could help get him up to speed by the GB game
First the Dodgers shit their pants, and now I have to listen to 49er fans go ape-shit over their start.
That division got tougher and did so pretty damn fast. Cards are on the way up too, have been competitve in most of their games thus far
mark schlereth@markschlereth Kevin this is so stupid. I hate the Raiders with the white hot intensity of 1000 suns but I call it like I see it and your Bears got a physical ass whipping of biblical proportions.
" ..biblical proportions. " Lol That can happen when you have to hear about a guy for a year and how your team isn't this without him/team isn't that without him. Just like all these defenses salivating at getting their hands on Baker Mayfield and the Browns and all that hype. Hopefully, the RAIDERS don't get a bunch of hype this season, just let them grind along..they'll get enough hype next year on the way to Vegas. A lot of teams are going to want to walk into Vegas and plant their flag
And just when you think you can fly below the radar and keep grinding along, here comes team spokesman Jon Abram running the ESPN circuit today. It'll probably be Fox tomorrow. Guess when you're out for the season, you don't have shit else to do. Should've known though..when have the RAIDERS ever been competitive and quiet at the same time? Fuggit. Bring on the noise.
Two drama queens. Fuck both of them. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...ndshake-incident-will-apologize-to-browns-qb/
No shit. Sherman's just a troll, and a corny one at that. Nothin worse than a corny troll. At least Baker's done some funny trolling here and there
Apparently he forgot an invention called the video camera and that he plays in the most popular game in the US.
Raider Cody@RaiderCody The #Raiders are 6th in the NFL allowing 3.74 yards per rush attempt. Now, if Coughlin just unhands Ramsey already, so we can close down the pass
ig: josinaanderson@JosinaAnderson I'm told both Jon Gruden & Derek Carr spoke during Vontaze Burfict's appeal which lasted approx an hour & change. During the appeal it was emphasized Burfict has gone over 190 plays w/o being flagged prior to suspension, Raiders cosigned he's tried to change game & is a captain. NFL world watching closely since Derrick Brooks is the man making the decision, of course one of Gruden's former players that he led to a Super Bowl win
