    Should've passed it. Stafford was having his way with that defense.

    Kyren Williams is usually money in short yardage (when he doesn't cough it up).

    Couldn't argue with a pass there, either. Like you said, Stafford was hot.

    after the latest dodger debacle i tuned in the laker game at the start of the 4th and they were up 20
    watched them slowly piss it away and actually fall behind until Reaves hit the game winner
    AR-15 is a pretty pretty decent ballplayer and when they talk of trading him that's definitely not the answer
    did notice mebron is nowhere to be found on the bench or celebrating the win w the guys
    guess he must be pouting somewhere

    Showtime back btw...

    Magic = Luka
    Byron = Austin
    James = LeBron
    Green = Vando
    Kareem = Ayton
    Cooper = Smart
    Woolridge = Rui
    Rambis = LaRavia
    Thompson = Hayes

    Obviously Ayton is no Kareem when it comes to the all around game but he is a high percentage shooter in the paint like Kareem and enough of a rim protector to matter.

    and AR is 10 times the player Scott was
    lots of love for B although i was always a Stormin Norman guy at heart
    but Austin is a much better threat imo
    comparisons aside the team is fun to watch and can hardly wait until mebron returns to ruin it and demand trades

    yeah but yall already know what i feel about Austin, im glad you came around to agree
    but i had to make the pieces fit
    imo Austin is in the Jerry West mold and at the worst he is a bigger modern version of Jeff Hornacek and that guy was reall good with the ball
    in fact this backcourt reminds me a bit of those Jazz back courts
    but for now he is the second or third option that qualified to be a first option because of intangibles like Worthy

    LeBron is the real Kareem of the team coming in before Luka/Magic being gifted Magic/Luka to end his career with more rings after. LeBron could decide to go to the bench in order to break a few other records and extend his career 3 more season as the old man who can play till hes 43. I know you would hate it.

    Ayton is carribean like Mychal Thompson and they are both big and can block shots and can move a bit and have touch. Similar with the exception that Ayton is more high usage.

    the team is over the top if they trade Knecht, Vincent, Kleiber, and a decent draft pick for Daniel Gafford.
    shit even though Rui is playing well I would throw him in if they give us back Christie.

    PG: Luka, Smart
    SG: Austin, Christie
    SF: LeBron, Vando
    PF: Stafford, LaRavia
    C : Ayton, Hayes

    Each backup covers the starters weakness and vice versa.
    Plus the team is balanced as the starters are not going to be defensive wizards but will be huge bodies that will get all the boards and be a problem defensively in the post and in the slow playoff halfcourt game.

    I really like LaRavia over Rui because he can play SG/SF/PF while Rui has a hard time moving like a swingman and doesnt rebound/defend enough for a big. He tries more lately but is probably gonna be at best an almost Glen Rice type player. Plus hes a FA to be and will want to get paid. Not in the Lakers future plans imo unless they plan on him taking the job/money over for a retiring LeBron.

    This team very much has the makings of a showtime the directors cut.

    you're in way deeper than i am but tbh had no idea how you felt about AR but i like the Hornacek comparison
    i wouldn't hate it at all if leboner decided to be unselfish but we all know that's not happening

    its funny how it is but the busier i get the more time i make for stuff i like
    when i had a lot more time on my hands i stopped being interested in stuff as much
    i stopped watching the dodgers and the lakers and other sports
    maybe lebron is afraid of something like that happening to him
    once you lose your edge it feels like its pretty much impossible to get it back
    unless you an edge lord

    idle hands...
    imo there's a lot to be said for busy work and keeping our minds motivated to figure out even the most mundane of tasks
    it doesn't have to be a whirlwind of worthless accomplishments to make us feel better but for real it leads to a better participation in life
    first thing i do every morning is make my bed and review of my notes from the previous day the n head a direction
    haven't had a job per se in a decade but its especially vital i stay involved in all the maintenance and routines of daily life and perspective
    being alert and conscious takes effort but what a gift to be able to contribute something tangible to the world
    doesn't have to change much of anything but what a difference in satisfaction and self worth

    Kings defeat the Maple Leafs 4-3 in OT. Ouch
