    I don't know... this offense is now just a shadow of the powerhouse that started the season. We're back to getting shut down by middle-of-the-road pitchers. I get that part of it is due to Seager's absence, but we've got platooners playing every day again. Garlick should not be on the roster. Rios is not ready. And Kike... every year he starts out en fuego and we all think that maybe he's turned the corner, and the next thing we know he's just treading water to stay over .200. He is NOT an everyday player, as much as Roberts would like to believe he is. I hope Corey's return helps kickstart the offense again, or maybe Pollack will help. Just need to get some of these guys with holes in their swings out of the everyday lineup.

    Lauer has ownage on us so this wasn't unexpected and as far as the offense goes, it's a cliche I know but good pitching stops good hitting. This is the most games played to my knowledge before the all-star game I've seen so fatigue has to be a small factor and listen there will be a lull in play throughout the season. What's important is that we are ready and running smoothly in October.
