The much maligned Orel was as perfectly prophetic as one could be. A fucking offense, either fatigued, or the high standards previously shown run it's course, that is basically minimal.
Pretty much a fat zero, top to bottom.
We' d better hope the lead stays huge all season, because late season, when it's mostly divisional play, we will get beat like a drum by the rest of the west.

The starting pitching can't get much better, so it is what it is.

The super condescending "bud" was a great touch. I would have gone with "boss" myself. "Chief" is a a really good one too.

 

While the offense has been shit, Maeda made a bad 2 strike pitch. Got away with a couple earlier, too.

 

The only reason I did it in a condescending way was because he was being kind of a dick to the other 2 fans who said hello (most people in this section barely know which team is the Dodgers let alone who he is).

He is such a blowhard who goes on the radio talking about how great the fans are and all that shit.

 

This is the Padres season, bigger than shit. Every out. played like it's the seventh game of the WS to them.

And.now, in there even longer with his effectiveness diminished substantially, we pay for it even more.
