Brusdar Graterol's hamstring strain is a grade 1 strain, not 3, an MRI revealed today. Dave Roberts was in fact talking out of his ass like he usually does

we gave them hope and of course they're both pretty good
other than that the writing is on the wall one of them will eliminate the Dodgers

How about something else other than a fucking meatball, Stone?
I could have gotten a hit for those RBIs on the center cut, wtf?
At least make a competitive pitch

Well .... hey.... I mean ... it's just one game. I mean.... it's only August.... c'mon, guys ... how bad can one game be? You know? Like ... you know? [/sarcasm]

Seriously... how in the cerulean fuck do you guys watch this shit? I just check scoreboard and that's bad enough.

I'd rather watch reruns of Degrassi with @rube ...

Schwarber is probably juicing. Dodgers lost to two fat asses tonight. Kyle Schwarber and Hunter Wendelstedt

I saw a promotional post saying that love or hate Roberts, you have to admit he always stands up for his players - in reference to getting tossed last night. Bullshit! This was the exception, not the rule for him.

But as one of his biggest critics, I will say finally he showed a little fire last night. Of course, how could he not? That was such a mind-blowingly absurd call. I read up on the rule, and it comes down to umpire's discretion on whether the runner was obstructed with. Wendlestadt (sp?) has to get his discretion gauge reset, because it's way off. Even if the runner's foot made contact with Rojas' foot (which was straddling the basepath, mind you, leaving plenty of room to access the base), there was no way the runner was going to beat the tag, contact or not. Like Mendoza (I think) said on the broadcast, what was Miguel supposed to do?

If the out was properly called, next batter hits a ground ball with a runner on first and that could've been an inning-ending DP.

All that said though, what is it with the Dodgers scoring in the first inning or two and then mailing it in the rest of the game?

They've been mailing it in after an early innings score or rally all year long. It has become a losers droning with the Dodgers, and it is nothing new. A mantra.
The only difference this year is they are really being challenged by two teams easily as good as they are, and it could light some kind of fire under them, but I honestly dont believe it will, ultimately.
The script has been followed too long and too faithfully...it is ingrained in the team's core and their leader assures it.

The call at third was outrageously bad, but it doesn't excuse the meltdown that followed.

Mariachi Joe is pitching his way off the roster.
