I'll tell ya....it's games like this....series lke this, that makes me understand why BB was always said to be "the game most like life". You can't ever figure the shit out--you never know from one day to the next. Just like life. And a shot at redemption comes for all of us. See: AJ Ellis.
Here we are getting simply crushed by a team who looked like the damn '27 Yankees in the beginning, and we take 3 out of 4 from them. Wonderful and couldn't happen to a better team. I'd take a huge ass-whupping in one game but take 3/4 or even 2/3 every series for the rest of the year
Fuck Utley, Ruiz, Manuel, Lee and all the other jerkoffs on the team.
You had your big embarassment of the LAD night, and choked on the other three. You had your 40 hits, and nary a run till a rook came in today.
Just when you think it's all done, all of a sudden, a Puig and Dominguez and let's not forget Fife, pop up to make things look way better than even yesterday did. The team looks very much the better now, and it sure looks like they are having a blast out there...like they all doing hash or something.
DBB is getting some nice shit to work with now...don't blow it Donnie. Be smart.
And whatever they did with Guerrier...it's about fucking time. May he rest in peace and be traded for a young arm or a catcher's mitt. Whichever.

Probably need to win 45-50 games in the 2nd half to win the division.

Tough one to take today...KK was clearly rattled by what should have been 2 errors by young and then the 2 "stolen bases" where they both overslid second base

The 1st call was definitely bad but we've been getting hosed practically all year. On the Hanley over slide I thought he got back but since your team only got 1 run, did it really matter?

the difference it made was rattling our starting pitcher...without those calls and the 2 muffs by young it may not have been the same ballgame

Our guy hit another player in the head and it didn't affect him at all but us Dodger fans can relate to being frustrated by 1 play. See you guys in August.

I can deal with the loss, its only 1 game, but as a pitcher when u have 2 pretty routine ground balls that are booted, by the same guy mind you, and then 2 blown calls it can really get in your head

1st one wasn't an error, 2nd one was.

Yeah. And if my aunt had balls she be my uncle.
C'mon man...the Phillies were never in the game.
Today's umpires suck...and by "today" I mean modern, present day umps. If you can't take blown calls and not get rattled, or errors from your teammates and go on from there, try another career. Medical billing or something. They had 14 hits, man.
Dodger pitchers all year have been getting fucked by errors and blown calls...last night for instance, would have been a perfect example with Kemp's throw and Puig's error.
But thy went on, and did what they had to, and won.

Never in the game? Lmao up until that inning(the 3rd) when young botched a routine grounder and then the 2 blown calls it was scoreless and I could argue would've stayed that way had they not happened.and if u wanna question KK's passion for the game then check again...he pitched the 6th with a concussion

I think Rollins tried to move Puig's foot off the bag which he cannot do so the Ump called Puig safe

Great series! That Dominguez kid might be what the bullpen needs.

Young looked so behind on that 101 FB thought dude was playing Bases Loaded on the NES and accidentally swung after the ball hit the mitt lol.

Even though were over 200M, looks like the youth movement is what's getting this team back on track.

You know what's funny? Even having won 8 of their last 9, if the season ended today, the Dodgers would still have the 9th worst record (which at the moment would only give them the 11th pick, because the Cubs and Marlins haven't signed their 1st round picks).

Not happy about playing COL though in Coors
That's the one place that can derail us, and always seems to
