    The Stan Kasten effect. Plus we are FINALLY getting back to our core philosophy of building the minor leagues and being innovators internationally. With all the losing we've been doing this year I really haven't paid attention until now.

    HOU has something like 4.9M spending budget on IFA's. My question is can we trade with HOU for some of that budget?

    Yes we can BA had an interesting couple of articles about how the new IFA system works. Basically, you can trade your slot values to another team for their slot values and you can only get up to 150% of your original budget.

    Our highest slot value is somewhere around 600k so that's the highest we can offer one player.

    MLB just needs to include these kids into the normal draft already this new system is stupid.

    According to BA, the Marlins almost never use all of there spending money on IFA (shocking, I know) so it'd be a perfect fit to have that alongside a potential Nolasco deal
