    Fangraphs playoff odds heavily-favor the Dodgers, and I get it. But if our stars suck, none of this matters. Adding someone like Machado or a relief ace won't be enough. Too many key players suck or are out for the season.

    Not saying it's likely, but we've seen guys adjust to losing velocity and comeback stronger than ever, even regaining some of the velocity, look at Justin Verlander.
