I agree. Our team is much more talented on paper, but their team is actually pretty good regardless of the names they have. They always pull this shit where they exceed their own abilities. I don't think they're going to win 100 games or anything, but they have our number, and this Dodger team had FOR YEARS been streaky. Their problems with offense has been going on since as far as I can remember.

For this team to finally start playing well, they need to play unselfish baseball, which is what the Giants do. They don't try to swing for the fences every at bat. They just play. Dodgers right now don't play with urgency when down. They just give up. They go with the flow, thinking that if they're down, oh well, that's it then.

Taking pitches isn't going to do much when no one else is going to take advantage of it either.

Agreed to a point. My only hope was to get to Puig

I wish this team would look to Puig as an example. The kid everyone thought was an idiot waiting to explode is showing you all how it's done, and he's twenty-three. He's three months older than I am, and he's making the rest of the veterans look foolish with his approach at the plate.

definitely one of the bright spots has been his overall approach to the game. skies the limit.

Finally put some good abs together at the end there. Not dees fault we didn't win this game. Kemp is still a mess looking like a rookie out there and Hanley not coming through earlier were a big reason we couldn't put up runs.
Btw, all these bullshit defensive shifts are getting very old. If they want to defend against the player pulling the ball, let the pitcher deal with it. Greinke is enough of a control pitcher that he can handle himself.

Anyone remember that game the professor had for us years back? I can't remember if it was the rf or lf but he literally kept the ball to one side of the field the entire game. It was amazing.

I'm done with overpaid big name "stars" who never live up to the hype. Just go sign a bunch of Cubans or draft and let them work their way up.

Unless I'm horribly mistaken, prior to last year you couldn't trade a draft pick. You could draft the player and then subsequently trade him, but could not trade the actual 'pick'.

You can trade comp picks only and you can't trade a player that has been drafted that same season

I believe those are the rules
