Now that is kinda how I'd like to see it

I'll probably do a revised edition next week after I see a little more how it's playing out.....

I'd rather have Kiké than Segedin that's for sure.

I hope one of the injured guys can come back and get that 4th spot, not really loving JDL there just yet. But I'd rather JDL than Stripling, and if it's Stripling the plan has to be him for 2 turns through the lineup and then Urias or JDL for one.

I want Dre on the roster. I know the whole clutch stuff is mostly BS, but I trust him and Gonzalez turning on a 96+ MPH fastball over a lot of other guys on the roster.

Idk but Howie/Enrique should count as IF and OF so I don't think it matters to try and align up the right amount of OFs and IFs

Unless kike plays well next series its almost preferable to have culberson.

The next 6 games are actually more important than I think people will see them as. If De Leon comes out and has a big game tomorrow, the Dodgers may need to consider having him throw game 162. If he does not, then they need to find one more start for McCarthy and potentially an extended outing for Stripling.
The bullpen is going to have to play off how the rotation is sorted out. It's crazy, but the team could still elect to go with a bullpen game for game 4 and may not be dumb for doing it. Wood for 2, Urias for 2, Stripling for 2 gets you to the bullpen. Telling those 3 to let it all out for two innings could be an interesting plan if up 2-1.
Ethier also probably needs to get in way more AB's, if he is starting to feel comfortable that would be a giant leap for the club. Toles is probably best suited as a PH right now as the SP's are keying in on his weakness. He is best suited for a PH situation with a FB reliant RH reliever. RH are killing him with back foot breaking stuff.
Just too hard to predict this thing right now with so many factors in play.

and nobody is listing ole game winning Charlie Culberson are they?

what have you done for me lately?

Oh YOU won the game? Too bad about that, some obscure metric says Kike is 1.203 nanopoints better against RH in October when there's a warm wind blowing from the south and we're leading by 8.

    Sorry kid.

I know Ethier and Reddick may seem redundant, but something is telling me we need Dre on the roster. Find out what he's got the next 6 games.

umm OK we'll count "almost preferable" as "thunderous approval"

at the risk of actually agreeing of course :poke:

prior to his HR my position on charlie was akin to thunderous approval in comparison to most others opinion of him
i had posted his .306 AVG against lefties in some other posts where i said that he should be on the roster over Kike

Yeah I'm not coping to having read every DSP thread but if and when I read anything of the sort I'd of been agreeing way back then

Kike for a 12 pack and it doesn't need to be cold

    Amen to that.

    Kike needs to get lost.

In the FO eyes Kike has a value so can't see him being left off the roster but I wouldn't shed a tear.

    i don't dislike kiké
and i understand he's gone through some rough personal times this year
but he has become a liability at the plate
can't have a guy that k's nearly 50% of the time (13k in his last 28 at bats)
looks like he's guessing up there, sitting mostly on fastballs
i honestly don't understand why an opposing pitcher would ever throw him one
but the argument is that he could play ss as well as the outfield
but if we had to use him for seager we'd have much larger problems
i guess the options for his spot would be segedin, culberson or perhaps barnes
    meh idk

Or they can leave joc in vs lefties.
If it comes down between kike ans ethier then ethier should get the spot as a pinch hitter.
    Howie in lf.
    Joc in cf.
    Puig in rf.
    Culberson in 2b.

Now if culberson can play rf then puig can slide to cf for joc if joc has to sit vs lefties.
