Just watched the video.. not sure what it is that has your panties in a twist?

Why are you/we talking about 'whatever' Obama did in years past? How is Obama related at all to what is happening under Trump?

What about that otherwise worthless video clip light's your stogie? So Castro's brother Raul tried to raise Obama's hand? So? I'm not seeing anything about Obama as germane to what Trump is doing TODAY.

Not last year. Not 2016. Not ten years ago grabbing unwelcome pussies. What matters today is what is being done TODAY. Like raiding / looting both Medicare and Social Security coffers while giving tax breaks to rich cronies.

WTF does Obama have to do with THAT??

Do you have a link for that?
Not saying it's not true, just curious about what that means.

I thought Bush emptied out most of the SS and Fort Knox Gold to pay for Iraq 2 and the second and third FDIC crusade to save the economy with quantum easing of our now infinite fiat.

Yeah I'd seen / heard of the Senator Ron Wyden tweet "Republicans in Congress are plotting to take away Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security."

    Digging further since ...
Some key Republicans, including Paul Ryan, have long argued in favor of overhauling entitlement programs such as these by reducing the amount of money spent on them. However, no Republican proposal has been made to "take away" any of the three programs cited in the tweet. In addition, Wyden glosses over just how far away from passage even a more modest overhaul would be.

** I should know not to listen to/repeat what elected DC blowhards say on either side of the aisle**

Still... the GOP leadership tools/mouthpieces openly brandish those threats and then present revised budgets feeding ever fewer Americans and purchasing ever more cruise missile, drones and unwanted tanks.

    From the Washington Post:

Paul Ryan’s remarks add to the growing signs that top Republicans aim to cut government spending next year. Republicans are close to passing a tax bill nonpartisan analysts say would increase the deficit by at least $1 trillion over a decade. Trump recently called on Congress to move to cut welfare spending after the tax bill, and Senate Republicans have cited the need to reduce the national deficit while growing the economy.

“You also have to bring spending under control. And not discretionary spending. That isn’t the driver of our debt. The driver of our debt is the structure of Social Security and Medicare for future beneficiaries,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said last week.

While whipping votes for the tax bill, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah) attacked “liberal programs” for the poor and said Congress needed to stop wasting Americans’ money.

You have to admit that Ryan, Trump, Rubio and Hatch are pretty damned vocal about their intentions and they've skillfully employed a Death of 1000 cuts strategy restricting social services.

Not content to simply cut services and increase taxes on the lower classes, Republicans are also seeking to reach directly into pay and benefits.
    From the Economic Policy Institute:

The Department of Labor released a GOP proposed rule rescinding portions of its tip regulations, including current restrictions on “tip pooling”—which would mean that, for example, restaurants would be able to pool the tips servers receive and share them with untipped employees such as cooks and dishwashers. But, crucially, the rule doesn’t actually require that employers distribute pooled tips to workers. Under the administration’s proposed rule, as long as the tipped workers earn minimum wage, the employer can legally pocket those tips.
And what we know for sure is that, often, they will do just that. Recent research suggests that the total wages stolen from workers due to minimum wage violations exceeds $15 billion each year, and workers in restaurants and bars are much more likely to suffer minimum wage violations than workers in other industries. With that much illegal wage theft currently taking place, it seems obvious that when employers can legally pocket the tips earned by their employees, many will do so.

    Another angle:
Republicans Are Killing Social Security One Tiny Service Cut at a Time
Republicans have made no secret of their long-standing desire to destroy Social Security as we know it. Indeed, Sen. Marco Rubio revealed just before Christmas that congressional Republicans plan to go after Social Security yet again.

Their strategy includes both direct and stealthier efforts—death by a thousand cuts to services. And Republicans are poised to plunge the knife in again soon. Since 2010, when Republicans took back control of the House of Representatives, SSA’s operating budget has been cut by 11 percent. For 2018, the Republican-controlled Senate Appropriations Committee has proposed limiting Social Security’s administrative budget even more, this time, by another $492 million—4 percent of SSA’s operating budget, on top of an already enacted 16 percent cut, after inflation, since 2010.

We're not really talking fine strokes here, the GOP focus has been around for awhile and since 2016 been unabated.

    cmon man.
you quote a whip who is trying to whip his people to get in line
you quote an operative making shit up to scare old people who will still vote conservatively
you actually did not quote anything that said anything

a social security entitlement is a conservative issue and not a liberal one.
when SS and medicare where new things they were liberal things
its not a hard and fast rule but new usually = liberal
you dont here liberals ever wanting things to be like before, liberals want new
liberals at some point in the future might be for ending these entitlements
conservatives dont want change unless the change is absolutely unavoidable and necessary
once the medicare and SS entitlements have become part of the status quo then guess what?
they stop being a liberal thing and become a conservative thing
sure by nature conservatives will try to always monitor that the entitlement doesn't grow and grow if they can help it
and the liberals will by nature try to expand it to include more and more things like senior citizen birth control once all the hormones we eat push baby carrying age to 70.
but if they ever EVER actually try or look as if they are trying or even hint of removing those entitlements then you will have a revolution.
so no, what you are quoting is hogwash by the most professional hog washers in the business
and the only thing I can tell you is that it's better to be an unwashed dirty dog than a pretty perfumed pig with lipstick and glitter.

Agreed I should have checked my ‘source ‘ but I’ve said that
I essentially agree with everything else but that the dirty dogs are on BOTH sides.

    But we knew that too

Still guns or food for all?

We got enough weapons. We got more than enough weapons.

Of course I could use another piece of iron.

I’d rather openly allow ALL immigrants the chance for food and wages (minimum) AND the chance to be legal EXACTLY by letting them build Trumps wall. CCC style.

And then pay their taxes like everyone else.

What immigration problem? Volunteer for civic works for xx time and you’re in. Bring the family.

    Pay your taxes. Done.

Which shit dirt party will support That plank?

Yeah about that... Trump pandering Populist could actually make a difference

Whoops sorry that was the liquor talking. Burp.

Add to the fact the RBG is 88 years old, and we might be looking at a President who has the potential to elect three judges within a term. Pretty incredible actually.

If the Dodgers win the WS I hope we don't have White House boycott drama. That'd be a real downer. I can already imagine local dipshit radio hosts like Steve Mason and Rodney Pete applauding Kike's bravery for refusing to go or something. Wish they'd end that tradition. Politics ruin sports.

Moot cuz we're not winning, but yeah.

Yeah I'm not actually seeing so much of an example. All three apply reasonably well and 'some' writers use more florid language. While not agreeing with the Fox worldview I do see enough of their broadcasting that you can tell the spin whereas the more liberal 'other news media' tend to enflame viewers with how bad shit is daily, how many died today? which kids died or were made homeless by a random racist white cop shooting this week? They project bad news to titilate and sensationalize daily events to scare us into watching more. What if school shootings didn't make the shooters famous? I'm not suggesting gubberment control of media to protect the snowflakes but what if one station didn't focus on 'bad news' 24/7?

They'd be out of business in a month. Or less.

Humans be addicted to this shit storm
