let's see how he looks the next three games before we start sucking each other off
sorry but i'm gonna remain a bit skeptical of someone being down so long with a hamstring issue and then suddenly -- unexpectedly -- running at 100%
that just doesn't happen very often [if ever]
and lol at mattingly describing the recovery as "miraculous" and "legendary"
    drink up hayseed :koolaid:

Yeah, it should be a wait and see approach and I don't even know that the next 3 games is a good enough barometer for where he's at and where he needs to be to face the Mets' young guns.

DBB getting his vocab/answers ready for when the media asks him " so how exactly did the Dodgers win the World Series with you at manager?? "

Puig is a line drive hitter, not exactly conducive to being a HR hitter. That's what he is and always has been.

If Puig doesn't play in all 3 games this weekend, two at least, then no he should not be on playoff roster. I guess I should have mentioned that earlier. If he plays in these games and looks awful as well, than no thanks on him making it either.

His LD% was up from last year and closer to his rookie year as well...his HR to fly-ball % had about the same jump. Part of me wants to believe that he understands that Puig's power numbers aren't much different from 2014's and that he just didn't wanna accept the info from 96 because he has issues with him or whatever. It happens. I mean Coloradokid basically had the same response for him and he just didn't even bother acknowledging it. We're all pretty much saying the same thing. If we look at Puig's frame, his rookie year, and the distance of his jacks when he really gets a hold of one he earns the 7 in raw power. But his technique lends to his game power getting the lower grade. Even though he struggled this year, Coloradokid is right, they fucked with his technique enough at the plate this season that when you consider that much he still did OK in limited games. If his game eventually levels off to a Cespedes-like .260/.330/.460 with 20-22HRs I'll take it and won't look back to 2013 at all. Especially with the golden arm still present in the field.

If he doesn't do you think they'll just shut him down for good? As in no joining for the NLCS either should we make it? I mean he'll have more time to get right in terms of timing, but still no live action. Maybe the performance of the others would weigh in on that as well..like say if " playoff Crawford " rears his head again...

I'd agree I'd like to see him play in at least one or two of the games this weekend

I don't see how they could use him at all without him hitting in a live scenario first. This isn't Carlos Beltran or Albert Pujols who you know is gonna come out and be fine, this is a kid who has struggled off and on all season.

Puig missed the clincher and now wants on the NLDS roster. That's the cause for his "miraculous recovery". If he's not ready to help this team then let him be. We've been ok without him for most of the year.

    Like Mondesi....a World Series Champion?

    Puig has alot to prove.

Question.....is Puig a better player than Machado? Cespedes? Is he worth the he worth the headaches?

That's not how he started, and if you are honest with yourself, thats not what you thought he was going to be either.

Then stop being as A-Hole wannabe, tough guy on a forum where you have to change your handle all the time because you comment like a jerk-off all the time.

Stop acting like a badass living in your parents basement. Truly....it's embarassing.

Yeah, true. And rebuilding/tinkering with his stance and mechanics as well. 8 strikeouts in 12 at bats last post season...nobody wants to see that again and one thing he's known for is extreme swings in performance.
