    I'm about 170 pages in, anyone else reading it?

    The sad reality I keep coming back to is, despite the fact that I think this team will be good for years to come with the Friedman led front office, and Guggenheim's money, the mixtures of personalities on that team, and the 180 from anguish to dominance, I don't think any future team winning will ever touch what it would have felt like to see that team win it all. I said it right after, and I stand by it, but I don't think I'll ever be that emotionally invested in another sports team again, for better or worse.

    It reads to me, and maybe to you guys as well, as a eulogy two years later of a family member, with how well I remember every game and play of that season, especially during the streak. I remember personally, the game we beat the Rays from down 6-0 I went to sleep in the 6th thinking "Well we have to lose one eventually" and waking up to the 7-6 win being both pumped and devastated to miss one second of how awesome that year was.

    The streak was fun and that was the front page/headliner for that team. Still, I'm all in with LAD going forward just like I was 2 years ago. I don't need a fairy tale season...I wanna win every season and reign terror.
