It sounds more and more like he's on the market. You need harmony in the locker room to win and if he is a guy Grainkey isn't happy with, I'd move him if it means keeping our other ace.

He's all good. We need those RBI singles against trash pitchers to make the postseason. Puig can get that done slightly better than our pitching staff.

I used to be 100% no, but in the right scenario I may say yes, but we'd have to make out like a bandit and absolutely get overwhelmed by the return....something I don't know any team would do right now or ever.

Puig is just too talented to give up on him. He will get right and this talk will go away. He still has an OPS near .800, a OPS+ of 118 and a WAR of almost 1.0 through only 46 games (that means over a full season, even at this rate, he is a 3-win player).

depends on the deal like blf said
if it helps get us cueto AND chapman (for example), you'd have to at least be willing to listen imo

Personally, if they offer me Chapman along with Cueto for Puig I'm listening.

If they agree to take Crawford or Ethier as well...deal. Don't need to hear any more.

After all that I'd take a shot at Kazmir using Guerrero and Lee...perhaps Chris Anderson as well.

Guerrero has no trade value, he can opt-out at the end of any season that he is traded.

If he does that, then sure, but why would he? By the end of the year he will have gotten nearly 65% of the money he is owed ($10M upfront and $4M per the last 2 years).

The rumor is so that another team will take him...that he's stuck if he doesn't waive it. That he wants to play.

Not likely that moving Puig has an impact on Greenkey opting out or not. His decision will be based on the market, the amount and quality of SP available in the offseason, and whether or not he sustains his great season without injury.

A rental pitcher and a reliever for an elite bat? No thanks.

How much do the Dodgers have to spend before people stop talking about " renting "?

fair Q but irrelevant as there should be no reason to trade a potential HoF like Puig.

steady at the helm he'll settle down and grow up...
even sooner perhaps with fat Uribe gone

lets hope that no more familia brings on more professionalism

who knows? this kids physical tools are awesome
but the gray muscle still needs to cook awhile longer
    not even to rare yet
    still just warming muscle
    kids a full on knucklehead
