Don't want to get into a war with anyone on Puig's offensive value...it is what it is...but l really think he needs to be traded as his hamstrings are something that will always plague him- the way he plays and with his body.IMO, he will be a DL guy often thought his remaining career.
    Very often.

I guess thats cost of hustling down the line. Hes damned if he takes a play off by the media and fan and hes damned by his body if he hustles. But sure someone will say "well theres a right and wrong way to hustle and puig is doing it wrong" hahaha

Yeah, there's only one way to hustle in my book, and the way Puig does it the way. It's just that I think with his musculature and frenzy, he will always be a candidate. One injury or another can be a pain in the ass, sure, but hamstrings are something never seem to go back 100%...I believe with the Dodger personality, certain players fall into the "carry the team on my back " category...and Yasiel has had that role more than once. If he tweaks out, it could be disastrous to us. I'd hate to see him on another team, for sure...but we will always deal with this now, IMO. I hope I'm wrong, because I don't really believe they will move him.

I believe they will trade him this off season. Of coarse they won't IF he did some post season heroics.

Well that is what I believe also. Don and Puig re gone after the season unless some magical shit goes down in post season.

tell us ALL what you believe son! praise the pickles and pass the salmon ole Fordie thinks that the Dodgers are shipping off cannon arm Puig. Sayitaintso. Abolueleah. Tellusaboutthemotherfucka. Do you believe? Well ya just gotta believe. Ain't no sense hearing the sermon if yo ain't gonna believe child. Press yo hands together and raise yo voice to the sky and tell us all... do you believe boy? I said do YOU believe boy? You better hope so cuz the wrath of wet mangy dogs is gonna visit yo momma's bedside if you don't.

Now what is all this "I believe" horseshit all about anyways?

    Puig can play.
He's a stud whom I do not wish to see in a different uniform. Ever.
We seriously fucked up his oh so fragile mojo getting rid of merry prankster Fat Uribe.
The kid needs to grow a thicker hide, and he will.
But he also needs to learn how to stretch... as do a great many Dodgers

Too bad we still can't afford a competent trainer

... oh and a competent manager to go with it

Get used to all this...it's his Achilles uh...tendon. Most guys who have really good careers by not being on the DL are not built like Yasiel...unfortunately, Puig is a little too muscular.
    But he's not going anywhere.

I wouldnt look to much into it. Hammys can be lingering . One could say he injured the other over compensating. Then reinjured the original hurt hammy. He just needs rest. I dont see it really being an issue going forward hes still young.

I tend to agree with the "muscular" theory of teh zoo. IMO, the body builder physique does not translate into athleticism. I submit that a 'well toned' body is better suited for the game than the muscular body.

Should have traded Puig when we had the chance. He will never be as good as he was that first year, and anyone who thinks he will be is delusional.

Interesting claim as to what is delusional...
