RIP Tommy. You were the manager of my favorite team in my favorite sport during my most impressionable years. And you never wavered in your love of this team. You'll be missed. As a side note, I have a copy of a short hand-written letter from Tommy to my old boss. I'd post it if there was a way to add items from my hard drive. Nothing too significant about this letter, though, except it's just kind of cool to see his penmanship which is surprisingly better than I expected. The letter is very cordial and shows to me that once off the field, the man was gracious and gentle - sort of an alter ego to his on-field persona.
